Rescue Me

Arlen was formed in a second floor living room in early 2014 by Paul Kenney, Justin Shariat, Breton Lefebvre, and Andy Bechtol. With each member having influences ranging from Jazz to Hardcore Punk - the sound became more and more unique as it progressed. The idea took off that they would move from weekly jam nights to playing as many gigs as possible. 

After lots of hard work and trying to push their sound to as many ears as possible, Arlen was able to play 17 shows from May to December (at least two shows a month). In May they played in their hometown to ten people, and not even two months later they played a festival to a hundred ears, and by August they were at The Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA. That Halloween they played as Joy Division at The Last Safe and Deposit Company in Lowell - catching the attention of a Boston-based digital magazine called Vanyaland. It was with their support and the growing confidence amongst the band that it was realized - Arlen is here to stay.
