Querfeld on Friday night was my original slot (recording incoming). On the next day I was asked to play again and jump in for someone at Triebwerke for an hour.

I had some old USBs with me (I usually play vinyl) with some techno-induced bass and breaks tracks which were super fun to play!

From the far west distance to planet Fusion lies a town called B, where they sent two humanoid controllers of music playing machines. Kim. and Samcho Panza come in peace to send greetings from their ongoing Cultural Space Project "ZfK" (Zentrum für Kollektivkultur e. V.). They come to tell you stories of the night in B and how their friends working to fill it with life and building a space to dance and fulfill creativity in B. They are luckily not alone for this visit. You are invited to join the ravey hi-five salutation with a trancy carpet guiding you into an uptempo house Party. :)

Growing up in the Bronx, New York as a Dominican woman, Arlenys found her self-expression through the underground music scene. Now a Berlin-based DJ, her creative influences span a wide spectrum, drawing from the raw energy of metalcore to the infectious melodies of pop music. When you experience her sets, anticipate a dynamic fusion of groovy techno interwoven with trance elements, creating a hypnotic and mind-bending auditory journey.

She’s a resident at Dynamic Events, a Queer feminist hard dance series making headway in Berlin’s electronic music scene. Since its conception in 2019, their parties are dedicated to creating a safe space for the FLINTA and BIPOC communities, empowering each other on the dance floor through P.L.U.R (peace, love, unity, respect). 

Beyond her role as a DJ, Arlenys is an integral part of the dark-wave experimental duo, Velvet Vanity. Their sonic landscape is characterized by a playful yet haunting sonic aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the juxtaposition of the joyful darkness found in synth-pop music and the gritty ambiance of Berlin's industrial scene.
