This was the first track completed for Drive. We wrote it in my Manchester studio over 4 rainy days and it's been a feature in both of our sets since then as a long standing ID. 

Interestingly, it was originally written as the backing track for a vocal. We tried a lot of different singers, but eventually arrived at the conclusion that it was best left alone (or best left to DJs to add their own!).

Our remix competition for Eye Of The Storm received nearly 1000 entries, over a huge variety of styles, which made the task of picking a winner unbelievably difficult.

In the end, after going through every single remix entered, our chosen winner was the one that we felt captured the bittersweet emotion and raw feeling of Gavin's vocal the best, and this melodic stunner by Bl3r did that, despite very tough competition.

We'll be posting up 3 of our other favourites over the next week so keep your eyes out for those.
