Ahead of a long overdue trip to Argentina, Markus Schulz checked in to the Coldharbour studios in Miami for another edition of the Global DJ Broadcast. On the show this week, he presents new music from Myon, Ilan Bluestone, Tim Clark and Anyma, along with a showcase of his Down the Rabbit Hole remix of Rapid Eye's classic Circa-Forever, being released next week. In the second hour, Markus is joined by Kris O'Neil for the guestmix, who recently released Speelplaats on Coldharbour, and also premieres his upcoming single Victorious.

Recognised for its influence in the radio and dance music industries, Markus Schulz's dedication and admiration for the connection between creator and listener is borne through his weekly Global DJ Broadcast journeys; accentuated through a series of dedicated themed mixes, reflecting the seasons of the calendar.

For the spring season, the aspect of vocal dance is laid into focus; reflected through the bond of music and words, where the vocalist is as important as the artist. Titled In Bloom to reflect the illumination of color as flowers blossom, the 2024 edition marks the eighth outing of this particular concept, and anticipation for its release grows with every passing year.

In Bloom is heavily influenced by pieces which have been appraised by Global DJ Broadcast listeners across the last 12 months, along with premieres to shape the remainder of 2024; and features a cast list of lyricists the community holds dear.

A deeply-considered reflection of vocal favorites, straddling the lines of trance, progressive and melodic techno, In Bloom 2024 by Markus Schulz is dedicated to dance music's wide community.

The phrase In Search of Sunrise carries a deep resonance throughout the dance music community, and ever since its debut outing 25 years ago, in 1999, its purpose has been to emotionally inspire. Spearheaded by Tiesto for the first seven editions, and continued by Richard Durand from 8 through 13, the honor was bestowed upon Markus Schulz to be the primary curator of the series from the 14th volume onwards.

In September 2024, In Search of Sunrise not only celebrated its 25th anniversary, but also reached its milestone 20th edition. The most expansive volume in the series to date, featuring no less than six DJ mixes; by Markus, Solarstone, Airscape, Super8 & Tab, York and ZOYA.

To mark the occasion, Markus wanted to weave something a little extra for company as part of the celebrations, by going through the entire history of the series and highlighting some of the significant pieces that have shaped the various generations of the series.

In 2023, Armada Music launched BEAT Music Fund, the world’s first dance music investment company, that acquires catalogs with the mission of honoring, representing and reinvigorating them. BEAT’s portfolio will continue to grow; in the first six months following its launch, BEAT acquired the catalogs of, among others, electronic music star ARTY, house and techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records, legendary NYC-based house label King Street Sounds and chart-topping producers Chocolate Puma.
