W&W - Lift Off! [Out Now]

Those of you who regularly follow Global DJ Broadcast will know that in recent years, I've introduced the Four Seasons series; which consists of one special mix during each quarter of the calendar, based on a particular theme. I always looked forward to the spring, where the flowers would blossom and make what we see more colorful. Marrying that idea with the bind of artist and vocalist led to the creation of the annual In Bloom mix.

My wish is that when we get out on the other side of this pandemic, we'll be able to go on those walks and take in the scenery around us. So as a way of saying thanks to you all again, on top of Community in Isolation and the live streams from the balcony, this year's In Bloom for the first time is a specially extended 3 hour edition - with loads of your favorite vocal tracks mainly across trance, but also a little bit of progressive and deep house too. Dutch dancefloor destroyer Hardwell has been on a tour de force of late. In a week that saw Hardwell reach 500,000 followers on Twitter. Back in March, Hardwell passed the torch for Best Breakthrough Artist at the International Dance Awards to electropunk trio, Krewella. This year, he takes the IDMA for Best Remixer (and Best European DJ) and affirms his title with this booming, big-room house remix of 'Alive', which debuted this past Friday on Pete Tong's infamous BBC1 Radio Show and was released for sale exclusively on Beatport today.

The stage is now most definitely set for what will be the biggest Hardwell summer ever!

You’ll get no better road-test than the biggest trance event in Europe. Premiered during his set at A State of Trance 600 in Den Bosch, Chris Schweizer presents the smashing duo of ‘Reflections’ and ‘Generation’.

A name on the rise. A talent on his way up. Chris Schweizer is the Argentinean producer whose sounds you’ll be meeting on the dance floor soon, if you haven’t already. Making a quick rise with the tunes of ‘One’, ‘Let’s Rock’, ‘Iris’ and the Tomas Heredia collab ‘Darksiders’, the Buenos Aires boy seems to have found the right groove.

Now making his grand debut on the ASOT label, he serves a set of tunes that can’t be pigeonholed. ‘Reflection’ has that techy flow and electro-driven sound that we’ve already come to know him for. ‘Generation’ beats any peak -timer, serving a melodic core that gets everyone in awe. Two strong additions to the quickly growing Schweizer discography.
