Axtone are pleased to welcome electronic music legends Kraak & Smaak to the label in the form of a cracking remix from Axtone's finest: NEW_ID.
On this remix NEW_ID have created their take on the classic Axtone house sound delivering with typical aplomb.

Long term super fans of Kraak & Smaak, fellow dutchies NEW_ID were delighted with the opportunity to rework their favourite cut from the former's latest album Chrome Waves.
Practically neighbours to their long time heroes, they all hail from Leiden; also the home of Armin, fact fans!

Stee Downes is a singer with a fantastic history, producing and releasing his own material on Sonar Kollektiv as well as releasing on some of the world finest electronic labels including Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, 2020 Vision, NeedWant and Exploited. His collaboration with Lovebirds in 2011 "Want You In My Soul" was considered by many to be tune of the year and turned many listeners on to what Stee was capable of.

NEW_ID have set out their stall this year with a string of killer remixes and Originals that have garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, Sander Van Doorn, and Alesso, both on air and in the clubs and festivals.
The NEW_ID & Axwell remix collaboration on Steve Mac & Mutiny UK ft Nate James 'Feel The Pressure' reached the summit of the Beatport release chart whilst their reprise of the classic 'Thrill Me' by Junior Jack is sure to be a festival mainstay for many years to come.

Kraak & Smaak will be touring Chrome Waves throughout the summer ahead of a Chrome Waves remixed album release.

A full-blown progressive anthem gradually rising in intensity right from the start, opening out to a guitar laden drop which drives its way to the euphoric breakdown which personifies all that makes Eddie one of the rare artists that deliver consistent perfection. The latter part of the track pays homage to the progressive stab sounds that made, and still makes progressive house one of the most emotional and uplifting genres. This coupled with the hard-hitting percussion and bang up to date sounds makes for another incredible record from the worlds leading free dance music label.

Promise Land release first full EP for STMPD RCRDS: Blippy EP

Those talented Italians Promise Land are back with another killer EP. With their enormous remix of Blinders’ Melt (Tasty) proving a big hit for STMPD RCRDS, label boss Martin Garrix has invited them back for a full EP. The results are spectacular. 

The title track draws influences from techno and bass, with the subtle melodics of the taut arpeggiated riff set against stomping on-beat percussion and futuristic machine sounds. They all combine to make for a scintillating slice of sci-fi music, with a huge breakdown that delivers even more dark sounds to build the dramatic tension. This one should be at home in a huge range of DJs’ sets.

Feel It it is a manic track that pushes the boundaries of house music, mixing infectious percussion with a nagging, twisted main riff that is as mischievous as it is infectious. Bass house techniques are employed to keep things spicy, with a monster breakdown used to propel this beast even higher.

Look out for much more from this talented twosome in the months to come, with many of the scene’s major players set to show their support through their upcoming releases.
