Guy J, a prominent figure in underground dance music, is known for his energetic
productions that resonate with dance floors worldwide, making them essential in DJ
charts.
However, with his label Armadillo Records, Guy prioritizes artistic freedom over
powerful rhythmic sections, repetitive structures, hooks, and drops. Based in Malta, his
label consistently features innovative and experimental electronic music, showcasing
his peers and personal works.
Guy J's latest release, "The Story They Never Told You," is a thirteen-minute composition
that explores new studio techniques and creatively transcends conventional
expectations of the Electronica genre.
With its abstract and immersive soundscapes, "The Story They Never Told You" takes
listeners through expansive sonic landscapes, encouraging them to discover depth
within themselves without explicit guidance or lyrics.
Guy adeptly merges improvisation with structure, and the grand finale addresses
questions raised throughout the arrangement, delivering a sense of calm and genuine

Hyunji-A, known as Hyunji Lee, is a Korean-Canadian music producer and DJ who
moved to Berlin from Montreal. Following years of achievements in the underground
dance scene, which earned her an international reputation, Hyunji-A is now debuting
with an avant-garde release on Armadillo Records. The three-track material
showcases her classical piano background, which she has cultivated since
childhood, alongside her electronic music expertise.
The first track, Staggered Dominos, blends 90s-inspired electronica with her
sensual vocals, prioritizing expressive interpretation and reflecting authentic human
experiences.
The centerpiece, Full of Empty Space, musically embodies the themes explored by
classic science fiction literature. This timeless yet futuristic composition offers a
meditative structure suitable for continuous listening.
The final piece, Goodnight Oppy, transitions from a dark introduction to an uplifting
atmosphere within the first minute, instilling a sense of utopian hope. Its psychedelic
and playful sound reintroduces a drum section and hypnotic rhythmic patterns,
enhanced by arpeggiated structures and improvisational piano segments that
elevate the overall experience.
With this release, Hyunji-A skillfully combines her classical roots with electronic
innovation, offering a thoughtful and dynamic exploration of her evolving sound.

Rounding out the month of April, Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Tato Seco to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Juan Martin Seco aka Tato Seco has achieved measurable success in relatively short order. Beginning his journey into electronic music as a DJ first, Tato would become a fixture of his country’s nightlife, performing alongside a long list of impressive talent, highlighted by Antrim, Fernando Ferreyra, Julian Nates, Kasper Koman and Nicolas Rada, amongst others, all while quietly honing his skills as a producer in the background. On the strength of his first ever release, a contribution to Future Avenue’s 2023 ‘Spring Sampler’, the Rosario resident would go on to sign projects via long-standing imprints in Droid9, Magnitude Recordings and Mango Alley, quickly establishing a resonate worldly sound and demand within the progressive house spectrum. With 2025 already highlighted by his latest Mango Alley vehicle, a remix of ‘Horizon’ by Seyah in cooperation with fellow countryman Luca Abayan, Tato now adds Sound Avenue to his resume with ‘Serendipia’, alongside remixes from   Ewan Rill, Agustin Pengov and Manu Pavez.

'History Is BW On TV' is a chiming melodic tinkling gem, with wondrous layers, creating a fantastical soundscape. Thoughts of summers day, lying in a field of freshly cut grass emerge as meeting a trippy chasm of goodness.

'Burning Close To The Core' may only be short and sweet, but its power is in its simplicity. Beautiful key changes and plenty of depth here as this magical wonder unfurls its magic.

"No boundaries, no categories, just great music." This first release from Tadir and the three tracks showcase the direction of this new label and introduces another rising talent out of Israel.

Spanck recorded a 17-minute grab bag of mid-tempo beats, high tech gurgles, Lo-fi effects and an ocean of gorgeous singing.
