This is my entry for Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers Contest.

The brief was to make a stem composed by Hans and make it my own.

My usual style is quite minimal, usually featuring the piano, and built on layers and suspended harmonies, so I tried to incorporate those elements in my arrangement by reharmonising the chord sequence and creating a harmonic ambiguity, particularly in the latter half of the track (with the melody falling on the 6th to give a sense of unease).

I think it matches my typical style quite well - now I just have to see if my style works for Hans! :)

In 2011 I graduated from Leeds College of Music with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music Production. Prior to that I completed a Foundation Degree in Music Production for Film & TV and a BTEC National Diploma in Jazz.

I've been performing since 1998 (playing Saxophone and Piano) and composing since 2004.
