Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

Es muy ambiguo tratar de entender o expresar un tema concreto cuando la voz no está cantando o narrando a detalle así que se puede y se vale interpretar las canciones de este ep a como el corazón de cada quien lo sienta; sin embargo muy en el fondo todo el ep hace alusión a Apetlanca, un poblado en una sierra en el estado de Guererro en México.

Band or live act? Extremely danceable chillout or extremely chilled-out dance music? And where do all these colours in my head come from all of a sudden...? These are some very common questions that will come to your mind once you're hit by the groove of the Downtempo combo Bummelzug:Acht. Viola, guitar, voice and, in the case of Colours, the meditative sound of a flute: All these live instruments create a very human and emotive vibe. A very relaxed and mellow vibe, to be more precise. At the same time you’re under the spell of percussions, synthesizers and digital rhythm generators that make you want to move and send you on The Ride. On top of that, there’s a remix from Seba Campos in here who repaints Colours in the bright shades of Nu LatAm sound, plus a groove texture that moves around a cosmic pad sound from the master of subtle deepness, @armandoletico.
