CoolHaven Quintet (live) - Naima

My composition based on an ancient (14-15th century) muwashshah, which is both an Arabic poetic form and a genre of secular music from the old Al-Andalus. The poem - Lamma Bada Yathathanna, roughly translated as "When my love swayed" - tells about the beauty of a beloved one.

CoolHaven Quintet - Al-Hamra

Nature always plays an important role in my music. I wrote this composition based upon a life changing hiking experience during a thunderstorm at the Hardangervidda National Park in Norway. The song symbolizes the beauty of the destructiveness of nature.
