During this long Covid period, everybody had passed by up & downs. Low motivation, huge frustration. As artists, not touring, not meeting peoples every weekend, not seeing smiles & energy on a dance floor was quite of a mental challenge. It was important for us to keep the focus, not loosing it! „Techno Poem“ opens up the ep. It comes with a bubbling driving baseline and circulated hi hat elements which are creating a full body shake within the track. The beat structure starting with hypnotic pads which leads you into the crispy arpeggio sawtooth lead theme. Deep Male Vocals in a poetic art moves the track not even physically but also into mental experience.

„Dance With Demons“ starts with stomping heavy drums and a rolling low end. The whole is supported by distorted percussion and ruthless mini-breaks. Dark self recorded female low pitch vocals with different style of programming giving the listener the clear order to obey the dance floor. In contrast to the rough environment the epic pads and a beautiful sensitive melodie give the track an ambivalent feeling.

„Pushing On“ combines classic house with new school techno while adding also an extra portion sexiness. The catchy vocal deeply reflects its housy origin. The dna of the track is besides the vocal its groove programmed claps and the dark house chords. Within the track the listener will be surprised by breaks with guitar distortion pitch effects which will be followed by an explosive energy. (Patrik Berg)

Arman John is a German/Iranian producer and DJ based in Hanover. With releases on established labels from the scene and his own imprint Phased Records, he’s built a solid name in the techno and trance scene over the last couple years. 

His sound represents eurodance driven trance, fast and hard grooves, funky vibes and soulful vocals, all tied together with his love for 303 acid lines, bouncy basslines and trancy synths. This has already taken him to some of the top clubs and parties across several countries around the world.
