Since its emergence the project the has been often labelled as „pitch black techno war funk“ (quoted after an early Boomkat review) and closely associated to what later on would be tagged as the „industrial techno“ – movement. This is possibly due to the radical machine aesthetics Ancient Methods has developed into an unmistakable trademark sound, since more than a decade. However the mechanical framework is – no more, no less – a physical ambassador for a deeper content, there is a profound human emotionality enclosed in the rhythmic shell.

Musician and activist since the first appearance of Raves, Umwelt has never stopped to propagate a fierce, raw and analog sound supported by a voracious passion for electronic music.
Founder of Rave or Die and of the New Flesh Records imprint, Umwelt boasts over forty releases to date, which place him among the most prolific French electronic producers. In 2016, after a long spell off the radar, this expert in ferocious distortions tinted with sweet melancholy delivered his second album, entitled Days of Dissent and released on Boidae. The opus was highly acclaimed by the public and the press, which proclaimed it an electro referent.

Letting instinct guide him in his path, the Lyon-based artist, a vinyl and analogue freak, continues the work of early pioneers with a wild and straight-to-the-dancefloor mode of transport, while progressively leading the listener into dark, melancholic, dancing and mental atmospheres where he alone has total control over the side effects.

Started his musical journey around 2007 and being influenced by old-school rave/breakbeat/hardcore sound - Žygimantas started producing dubstep & jungle tunes and djing at various illegal parties and open-airs.In late 2019`s a new mindset under alias 5ZYL was born and it didn’t take long to be noticed by Jensen Interceptor and by local talent hunters - PPP Records - where the debut "Smoke These" EP was launched. The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Arvin T. The Brooklyn-based DJ and producer was raised and influenced by the melodies of new wave, early trance, Midwest techno, and Iranian disco. His artistic journey embodies a fusion of diverse musical influences and he is not only a discerning cultural critic within the local scene but also a fearless genre hopper, weaving sonic narratives that traverse the realms of past and present soundscapes. His performances blend neon synths, platinum kicks, and deep bass lines, paving a journey of musical crescendos and introspective valleys across every dance floor he commands.

He has not only captivated premier clubs in New York City but also garnered recognition beyond the east coast. In addition to stages at renowned venues like Paragon, Basement, and Bossa Nova Civic Club, he has also graced the decks of prestigious clubs such as Smartbar in Chicago and Sisyphos in Berlin. Today we are thrilled to present this set that spans across the multidimensions of techno and electro, with a splash of body/goth vibes.

Dalmata Daniel, with the seventh installment of the lathe cut series, invites us on a time travel journey.

11 years ago, on a hot and acidic July evening, the SILF guys secluded themselves in the Ballacid studio in the concrete jungle of Újpest to dive into the night with their analog setup.
During the jam session, led by the TB303 bass synthesizer, these two timeless classic acid variations were born from a single theme.

'Tot-O' is the darker, more rugged stomper, while 'Tot-A' is the lighter, more upbeat acid-house track, featuring the playful use of the TR707 and TR727 drum machines by the duo.
