Steyoyoke Black welcomes, up and coming Polish techno talent, Michael Warren, to the imprint with this massive 3- track EP, “Baltic”. With its haunting leads and hypnotic grooves, this powerful release will keep you suspended in near life animation.

“Cold Lie” commences the release’s journey with an overwhelmingly broody and shadowy tone. Highlighted by a shrouded atmosphere and inky vocal, this “shadow of a track” eventually erupts into a mesmerizing, dark, yet melodic composition. Next, the track “D.M.X” continues the darker melodic journey with disco inspired stabs and an arpy melodic sequence. An alluring, less murky vocal makes a subtle return as well. The final installment of the EP, “Gelsen”, is a harder, faster, and more punishing piece. A traditional galloping rhythm propels the EP further into the dark realm of Techno.

Michael Warren’s release, “Baltic”, is a refreshing interpretation of Techno grail. Dark, mysterious, and hypnotic in nature, this release has all of the components of peak-time techno with an ever-evolving shadowy story making it more complex and otherworldly. This is Steyoyoke Black. This is the evolution.

We are pleased to share our next release by Polish artist Adam Toxic. With over two decades in the scene Adam debut's with a massive progressive / melodic house tune titled 'Ghost Town'.

On remix duties Arnas D makes his much anticipated return to Strange Town Recordings. The Lithuanian powerhouse delivered his first remix to the label back in 2021 for Wolf Ear & Fassbender's Hummingbird which gained major support from Miss Melera, Simply City, Jaap Ligthart and many more. Arnas takes a deeper approach by adding lush textures and hypnotic melodies to the main motif accompanied by his signature low end.

The second rendition comes from one of our core artists Cream (PL). Also hailing from Poland the progressive house wizard crafts a dance floor monster with a driving baseline and quirky FX's taking the audience to cloud 9.

"I found myself in a unique and challenging situation, After I became the resident DJ at a beach club in a foreign country owned by a powerful company that imposed strict exclusivity rules. Yet, in the midst of the rhythmic waves, an opportunity to perform at a mega club presented itself, an offer too enticing to resist.

Undeterred by the contractual chains, I decided to take the risk. With determination and secrecy, I accepted the booking, blocking everyone associated with me on social media to keep my plan under wraps. On the night of the gig, I called in sick to my resident job, convinced that I had successfully outsmarted the system.

As I unleashed my music upon the massive crowd of 2000 people in the mega club, the energy was electric. Little did I know, my carefully crafted plan was about to face a sudden twist. Mid-set, I glanced to my side, only to find my manager standing there with a fake angry smile, a smile that said, "I wanna kill you, but I can't help but be impressed."

In that moment, I knew I had breached my contract and lost my job as a resident DJ. Yet, the pulsating rhythm of the crowd's cheers and the freedom I felt on that stage made it all worth it. Sometimes, the best risks lead to the greatest rewards.
