Three neighbors from Neukölln, an eclectic and brilliant quarter of Berlin, serendipitously created VonLewald one day, when Nick’s vocals and acoustic guitar melodies travelled through the walls intermixing with the electrified, shimmering beats and arrangements of the multi-instrumentalists John and Joseph. VonLewald was born.


The trio captures the listeners in the warmth of soft, crooning vocals and cool, vast sound- scapes - at once allowing them to unwind in spatial ambiance, and then suddenly swinging them onto the dance floor.

This is a track I recently completed under my ambient/experimental pseudonym "ztracený" for the Soundtrack compilation to accompany a book that is supposed to be published sometime in the near future. (* The book is not my creation)

A word from the creator: 
This is video footage I shoot in July of  2012 in Croatia. It was a cloudy week here in Germany and I desperately felt the need to see some sun. So I jumped into my car and drove all the way down (1000km) to this place. Back home the video footage inspired me to create the music you listen to right now. For me, combining a picture and music in such a way is pure joy. I hope you enjoy it, too.
