Illeven:Eleven Recordings’ label boss Keith MacKenzie's contributions to the breakbeat scene cannot be overstated. After honing his skills as a DJ in the 90's Florida scene alongside luminaries like DJ Icey, DJ Fixx and Infiniti, Keith's move into the label game sought to combine his various influences under one roof. Although the primary focus has been bass-driven breaks music, the label built a reputation for releasing quality collaborations from artists working across electronic genres, quickly making it a Beatport favorite. 

Besides his own productions with DJ Fixx (as KMFX), the ever-growing list of releases have included music from producers like Calvertron, Deekline & Ed Solo, Hatiras, Bass Kleph and Gigi Barocco, as well as frequent vocal contributions by the likes of Sporty-O, Sue Cho and Whiskey Pete.  In addition to gigging extensively in North America, the last few years have seen Keith's profile boosted to international breakbeat fame. Over the last year alone, Keith has smashed dancefloors in Spain, Russia, Rome, and London, constantly pushing his potent formula of party-rocking breaks to new heights.

Over the past 15 years, breakbeat pioneer DJ Fixx has been stocking the shelves of record stores everywhere. Said by many as one of the most innovative and consistent producers in the industry, he continues to deliver some of the most sought after breakbeat tracks available. Making his debut in 1998, Fixx produced over 75 anthems on the classic Kaleidoscope Music label. Many of these timeless tracks are still played frequently today. This was then followed by Fixx's own personal imprint, Bottom-End Records (2004-2008). Managed by Afterdark, the BER trademark produced some of the biggest anthems in the industry, easily claiming the spot of one of the top five best-selling domestic labels in the country. Alongside of Keith MacKenzie, Fixx is currently a leading producer for Keith's illeven:eleven label. Frequent solo installments can be found on ILL, as well as collaborations with Keith under the production duo 'KMFX'. With over 150 12-inch releases, over 200 exclusive digital releases, and eight massively-distributed CDs under his belt, Fixx has assembled one impressive Discography. All of this resulting in one of the strongest and most loyal followings in the industry

Since the conception of the “Lo IQ?” project in 2010, it has been destined for great things. Lo IQ? has an unique style of producing and DJing, which can be best described as big room Breakbeats. In 2010 Lo IQ? came storming out of the gates with original releases and remixes on labels such as DJ Icey’s world renown Zone Records and famed UK Label Ground Level Records, which all have reached top tier positions on the top 100 Beatport chart.In early June 2013 Lo IQ? was named #15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart, Reinforcing that Lo IQ?'s sound is headed in the right direction. Recently in July 2013 Lo IQ?'s velocity shows no sign of slowing down and had a big month, first releasing a track on Breakz R Boss "Around The World" which rocketed to #2 on the charts only to be followed by 2 other releases to also reach the top ten that month, one being another original "Gettin' Right To It" on Zone Records.

In these few short years Lo IQ? has toured and performed in cities nationwide like Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Seattle, Boston, Charleston, Portland, Orlando, St. Louis, Tampa, Houston, Jacksonville, San Francisco, West Palm Beach, and Cave-In-Rock Southern Illinois to name a few. Although Lo IQ? has kept a busy schedule rocking clubs and nationwide festivals, he is consistently in the studio producing many new future releases and remixes for labels such as Zone, System Static Records, Breakz R Boss, and Clever Fool Recordings. The Armory Podcast has been woefully short on female artists, an oversight we intend to correct beginning with this week’s special guest. In her hometown of Orlando and across North America they call her “The Bass Queen”. She's an accomplished DJ and producer and runs her own label, “Bad Baby”. Baby Anne aka "The Bass Queen" has blazed a Trail across North America and Beyond with her DJ sets and Original Productions. Her signature recipe is a delicious fusion of high energy Electro Breaks and Miami Bass seasoned with funky beats and driving bass lines. Her musical influences range from Miami Bass stalwarts Dynamix II and AfroRican, to overseas tunes by Kraftwerk & 808 State, from statesides DJ Icey and Information Society to a host of Funky Freestyle records from back in the day!

Baby Anne is known not only as a DJ but also a recording artist, having dropped loads of tracks on her own Bad Baby record label and DJ Icey's Zone Records Imprint as well as other labels. Her latest single "Baby Vicious", on Bad Baby is rocking dance floors across the country. Baby Anne has pounded out 14 Mix Cds, all of which have charted on the Billboard Soundscan Electronic Top 50 album chart from 1999's "BassQueen in the Mix" to last year's  release, "Beauty of The Beats".   Baby Anne is currently on tour promoting her latest CD release, "Disturbing the Beats".

British-born Lee Coombs has been involved in the music industry since 1989, when he got his start at acid house parties in London and Cambridge. He went on to run several of his own labels including the legendary Thrust Recordings and collaborate with some of the most respected artists and producers in the world, combining breaks, house, electro, techno, and acid to create groundbreaking mixes in his own signature style. Coombs is a talented and innovative fan-favorite around the world, whether he’s releasing music through his own Thrust label or as part of the Lot49 team, or mesmerizing massive audiences filling dance floors from Australia to Burning Man. 2014 has been a busy year for Coombs! Having an opportunity to attend legendary dance clubs in Orlando during the early 90's, like The Edge, Firestone, Ultra Violet, Infinity (Cyber Zone), The Blue Room, Icon, Alpha Bar, Eli's Crib, Thee Grotto, and The Bank (Fusion), along with numerous other clubs in Orlando and throughout the United States, it is easy to see where he gets his influence of electronic music from. Under This is one of the most significant Breaks band formed back in 2003 by the guys who were keen on broken rhythms from their childhood. In the beginning of their career Under This also took active participation in promoting Breaks music in their home town - Daugavpils, which culturally is a capital of Latvian Breaks scene. Being citizens of Daugavpils, guys got under strong influence of the Nu-Skool Breaks since the mid 2000s, just after their first visits to legendary night club 'Banzai', which was famous for its big Breaks events with acts from guest DJs such as General Midi, Hyper, Elite Force and Autobots to name a few.

Grown on music of The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and other giants of electronic music scene, these guys have absorbed all the elements of banging sound to form their unique style. Blending the vibes of early 90`s Rave anthems, mid 90`s Big Beat, 70`s Disco / Funk and even 60`s Rock`n`Roll with the modern sound of Bassline and Progressive Breaks Under This are always unexpected with their musical innovations.

After their official debut release on Distinctive Records back in 2008 Under This in a wink got support from many famous DJs and producers of Breaks as well as of Trance scenes and became one of the most promising Breaks acts. Keeping their hard work and real passion to music production in the next 2 years guys signed exclusive contract with iBreaks Records. That’s became a very significant point and beginning of the fast growing career for them. After serving successful apprenticeship on iBreaks Bass since 2010, Under This have stepped up to the main iBreaks label in early 2012, already having 5 EPs reached the Top10 at Beatport in their back-catalogue. Since that moment Under This became one of the most demanded Breaks projects. With their hits such as ‘Funqualize’ (anthem of the Summer House 2012 festival), ‘Hands On You’, ‘Stay Away’, ‘What I Need’, ‘Yestreday’, ‘Dancing Right’ and the bunch of top charted remixes, Under This firmly anchored in the leading projects of Breaks scene.

These days Under This keeping their hard work in the studio on new stuff, touring around the Europe and running their own label Expand Records (Breakspoll 2013 – Best New Label Top5 nominee). Under This music is frequently played by the DJs such as Paul Oakenfold and The Crystal Method, which shows real respect and massive attention to their production, not only by Breaks lovers, but also by major dance acts.

Chris Lund (aka Left/Right) has spent over 14 years working from Dallas as a producer, dj, installation artist, and college professor. His music has garnered support from Rolling Stone, DJ Mag, EDM.com, and Excision, including official releases for The Crystal Method as well as Stanton Warriors' imprint, Punks. He has charted in the top 10 at Beatport, Juno, Hype Machine, and received airplay in scores of countries around the world.

Keith MacKenzie has emerged as one of the driving forces behind the global breakbeat scene, regularly gigging across the US and Europe. Now based in Chicago, Keith spent his formative years in the now legendary Florida rave scene racking up early credits on influential labels like DJ Icey's Zone Records and After Dark before launching his own label. Illeven:Eleven Recordings, now in its 11th year of operations, built a reputation for releasing quality collaborations from a diverse roster of artists (Audiostalkers, Deekline & Ed Solo, Fixx, Infiniti, Bass Kleph, Gigi Barocco, Rico Tubbs, Sporty-O, Sue Cho and Whiskey Pete have all released on the label) making it a Beatport mainstay in the process. Under the informal moniker of KMFX alongside Fixx he's gone on to release internationally on labels like Deekline's Rat Records, as well as Punks, the venerable UK imprint formed by breakbeat stalwarts Stanton Warriors.

In 2012 Keith teamed up with long time creative collaborators Fixx and D:RC to form Smookie Illson, a new bass music alias for studio experiments that fall outside the rather strict umbrella of breakbeat music. After trying their hand at everything from electro house to moombahton (signing their first demos to Potty Mouth Music in the process) they found their footing in the EDM "trap" scene, churning out bootlegs and originals at a brisk pace and gaining steady support from fans and peers alike. The Freerange Djs have won lots of awards that are not really worth mentioning and narrowly missed out on some good ones too. With remix work for the mighty Stanton Warriors set for release imminently as well as a delightful summer festival season booked in including their favorites Glastonbury and Boomtown Fair, its looking like these modest idiots could be sailing the good ship Breakbeat at full speed towards some very prosperous rocks in the not too distant future……

Keith MacKenzie has emerged as one of the driving forces behind the global breakbeat scene, regularly gigging across the US and Europe. Now based in Chicago, Keith spent his formative years in the now legendary Florida rave scene racking up early credits on influential labels like DJ Icey's Zone Records and After Dark before launching his own label. Illeven:Eleven Recordings, now in its 11th year of operations, built a reputation for releasing quality collaborations from a diverse roster of artists (Audiostalkers, Deekline & Ed Solo, Fixx, Infiniti, Bass Kleph, Gigi Barocco, Rico Tubbs, Sporty-O, Sue Cho and Whiskey Pete have all released on the label) making it a Beatport mainstay in the process. Under the informal moniker of KMFX alongside Fixx he's gone on to release internationally on labels like Deekline's Rat Records, as well as Punks, the venerable UK imprint formed by breakbeat stalwarts Stanton Warriors.

In 2012 Keith teamed up with long time creative collaborators Fixx and D:RC to form Smookie Illson, a new bass music alias for studio experiments that fall outside the rather strict umbrella of breakbeat music. After trying their hand at everything from electro house to moombahton (signing their first demos to Potty Mouth Music in the process) they found their footing in the EDM "trap" scene, churning out bootlegs and originals at a brisk pace and gaining steady support from fans and peers alike.
