doubling a deer on the shoulder, on his stage, violently posing his last dance
keep passing, keep staring
let curtains grief open over faint and barren eyes
23 years I’m ensnared in this place and the leaves keep collapsing
they die and they live, and die again, while my knees fall galled with cravings for something to distort me
oh give me a home where the vices roam, and the cannon only fires at the addicts
hold my head under water so I can’t breathe
