Very happy to share this recording of a special set I played at a gathering with friends in Scotland last November. It was recorded late on the Sunday evening, in what is definitely the cosiest ambient space I’ve ever had the joy to play in: a room surrounded by squashy sofas and cushions, one wall covered in incredible mind melting visuals from Vincent Rang, and a fireplace crackling away in the background.

I poured a lot of myself into this set, it’s really one for getting lost in, a space for dissolution into the beyond, being swept away into the realm of the imagination. I hope you find something in this journey ~~

With an extraordinary musical vision firmly rooted in the freeing kinetics of Soundsystem psychedelia, her vibrations bring vivid influence from the El Djerid desert & her Tunisian heritage into communication with the transcendent spatial awareness of dub and the grooving, dynamic exuberance of techno. Uniting these spellbinding elements into an alchemic synthesis, she conducts Saharan frequencies into eclectic, entrancing rhythms with a nimble & profound elegance - contrasting microcosms of light & darkness immersed in mercurial depths, ecstatic percussive intonations, & the breathtaking enchantment of bass weight pressure. 


Azu's mix is a transcendent journey that begins amidst the boundless expanse of space. From the outset, the mix propels you through undulating grooves, resembling cosmic waves that transport the listener through an intricate musical narrative. Azu skillfully guides the voyage, making stops at diverse realms that traverse infectious dub-driven breaks, hypnotic techno landscapes, and experimental ambient dimensions.

Delayed x Mostra: Azu Tiwaline

Konduku (@kondukukonduku) is Dutch-born but with a proud Turkish heritage that colours the music he makes. It's impactful techno but with curious time signatures and minimalist percussive that draws on the rhythms of his ancestral homeland. As the son of a musician and Balkan folklore dancer, he was always set to spend his life in music and so far it's been a rich one that has included a standout debut album on Nous’klaer in 2018 and fresh EPs on the cult likes of Delsin, Bitta and Spazio Disponibile.

This week's mix showcases exactly what he is all about with 80 minutes of supple and subversive techno. Liquid tracks from Jeff Mills, Donato Dozzy, Shackleton and plenty of his own all feature in this timeless trip where slick transitions and carefully threaded grooves constantly build mood and atmosphere. From deep and cosmic to dark and dystopian, there is an always underlying tension that keeps both mind and body utterly locked in.

Avsluta (Lucie Stepankova) moves with quiet precision, tracing the lines between ambient stillness and rhythmic motion. As a London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and curator, she explores the spaces where sound lingers and transforms.

Her set at Mostra Festival 2023 left a lasting impression. A seamless journey through moods and tempos, carried with effortless elegance. It felt only right to invite her to Unrush, and now here we are finally.

For this mix, Lucie dives into deeper ambient landscapes, showing the same thoughtful sensitivity that shapes her work. Over the past decade, Lucie has refined her musical voice behind the counter at Phonica Records, guiding London’s ambient and downtempo seekers most Saturdays, building connections, sharing music, and fostering community along the way.

She’s the founder of Introspective Electronics, a platform for radio shows, guest mixes, and listening events. Together with producer and DJ Alicia, she also curates Terra Obscura, an intimate club night series devoted to slower, introspective sounds.
