DREAMCORE (Tremplin Astropolis 2023)

A decade ago DJ Westfa started organising house events in old his hometown Amsterdam called, Our Society. Over the years his passion for house music grew significantly and it became a way of living. Booking Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Robert Owens, Jamie 3:26, Sadar Bahar & Lee Collins, Tama Sumo, Lakuti and countless others developed the inspiration and motivation to a point that he decided to take the spot behind the booth and started expressing his soul into his sets.   Music has always been a great part of his life. With roots in Surinam (South-America) DJ Westfa approaches music in a more spiritual way. For this reason he always translate his personality into his sets through energy, rhythms, percussions, soul and love.  The power of music is infinite, that’s why DJ Westfa uses it to communicate, mourn, celebrate, love and live.

DJ Unisex is an interdisciplinary DJ, Producer, Radio-Host and Label-Chief based in Leipzig (Germany). In the past years he had gigs for example at: Terminal Club (Mexico City), About Blank (Berlin), Le Bourg (Lausanne), Operator (Rotterdam). In 2019 he started his residency on Callshop Radio called Intergalactic Rhythms. Since 2020 he is co-running the record label Self Learning System.

It supports artists through various tools such as a label, artistic residencies, workshops, publishing, professional accompaniment and visual arts. Submarine Club Vol.1 is the culmination of an artistic project and an accomplished vision of contemporary electronic music. In this first volume, 12 artists deliver their audio definition of the IBOAT Club and submarine dance. May this compilation bring you the dance and pleasure that club culture has given us for so many years.
