This compilation is in celebration of our Berlin party, Cocktail d’Amore, which we started with Boris five years ago along visual direction by Pindar (GoldNSour). What began as a gay monthly focused on bringing quality music into the alternative culture of Berlin has grown to be host to a diverse range of open minded freaks,queers and more seeking a carefree atmosphere. The music we have compiled is a reflection of the variety of sounds our guests expect from the unique Cocktail experience.

Its techno time as this week we bring you the exclusive first play of the second release from Bis Bald Records' boss Barney Khan. Having moved to Berlin just nine months ago, Khan has made it his priority to pay respects to the communities that continue to influence his sound. Still in his early 20s, the skilled beat maker is proving that he is one to watch with his four to the flour techno productions that cut deep into the dance floor. The track, Despot, is one that takes you by surprise, with magical chimes and disco drums easing you in before the drop sends you soaring! Hold on to your hats.

There is a new sounds coming from Power Station main man Kris Baha himself at the peak moment of his musical career, who is uniting  forces with Emotional Especial in order to give us another of his masterpieces. It is titule track Barely Alive which is doing the damage your infinite self-confidence . Deeply atmospheric, full of analogue grit an distortion it is full on EBM vibes which evokes the spirit of Nitzer Ebb or Throbbing Gristle, it doesn't hold back and after all, why would you want it if all you can do is stay barely alive?

Arnaud Rebotini is a singer, songwriter, producer and remixer, he has become one of the most emblematic figures in electronic music today, adept at straddling genres, both avant-garde and timeless, and bringing them together. 
For example, his Zend Avesta project (Organique, Universal 2000) married electronic music with a chamber orchestra. 
With his analogue synthesisers, he became a central figure on the scene of new international techno, marking renewed enthusiasm for the use of electronic instruments rather than just computers. His live shows have always been unanimously celebrated (Music Components, Citizen 2008, Someone Give Me Religion, K7 - 2010) and his remixes for pour Depeche Mode, David Guetta, Rammstein, The Rapture, Bloc Party, Acid Washed and Tristesse Contemporaine are as indicative of his sets at the biggest clubs and festivals (playing live or mixing) as his collaboration with the highbrow Groupe de Recherches Musicales, especially with Christian Zanési for their Frontières project.
