Masomenos, is a productive partnership between Joan Costes, a graphic designer and DJ, and Adrien de Maublanc, a producer and sound engineer. They both clearly have a ball with ‘Welcome to Masomenos' an audio-visual system they use to produce their spontaneous, lighthearted, psychedelic, no limits universe. Their label has no rules and regulations as it is freedom and creativity that fuels their world and allows them to produce interdisciplinary creations through various media forms. In this case, our focus may be on the exclusive B2B set they've recorded especially for MEOKO's latest podcast session. Because it is music and music alone, a passion shared by these two love-birds, that is the source, the reason, the vehicle, the springboard from which everything else follows. During this journey of deep yet ever so funky disco flavoured sounds, set your mind free and let it sink into the Masomenos universe and play around with visions of their colourful characters and flashy creations. The mix has been recorded at Club Midi, Cluij-Napoca, Romania, and is the output of the first Masomenos dj&live set played back to back by both, Joan & Adrien.

Daron is a Seattle-based DJ with a deep love for the natural and urban wilderness. She was drawn to the underground music scene while reconnecting with a life-long love of dance. Her sound is groove-focused and shaped by her love of minimal, deep, downtempo house, and electronica. Through music she finds an expansive flow state in which she hopes we can deepen our connection with ourselves and each other on the dance floor.

Daron shares: ‘’I approached this mix with playful curiosity and acceptance of all parts of myself (light, dark, and everything between). It is a journey that is emotive, danceable and represents my own recent experience of reconnecting with my inner child through music and dance.’’
