A song in Norwegian about the great mysteries of life. The title of the song means something like the one who strives after the wind. The sun rises, and the sun goes down, but no two days are alike. The answers to our most difficult questions are blowing in the wind, and there will always be things we do not understand.  The song is sung by Hanne Henriksen. The backing was made by Larry Carlton as a TrueFire Tag Jam. Thanks Larry!! You're the greatest. The solo is played by myself on my Gibson ES335. The recording was done using Digital Performer. For guitar effects I used Guitar Rig 5. Technically, the solo is not at all difficult, but then again, it's not always necessary to play lots of notes all the time. Given Larry's steady and elegant backing, it felt more natural to keep things simple and bluesy.

This is a great Larry Carlton song from his 1978 album "Larry Carlton". The backing tracks on this version was made by Shahe Sinanglu (www.dsuper.net). Thanks a lot for an excellent job! I played the guitar solo myself on a Gibson ES 335 using Guitar Rig 5 for sound modelling. Enjoy folks!

Another straight forward blues tune. This time I played my Fender Stratocaster. As usual the song is recorded in my home studio using Digital Performer. Hope you like it!

EZ Blues

This is a gospel song I wrote way back in the late 70's. It was originally recorded by a vocal group called Kilden, and released on their album "Alternativ". This instrumental version has been a work in progress for some time. In this version using double tracked acoustic guitar for the comp, and a Gibson ES330 for fills. The sax and the flute parts were played by my good friend Enra Gnab.

A bluesy shuffle, slightly up tempo. The guitar solo is played on my Fender Stratocaster.

Warm Duck Shuffle Backing

A beautiful little song for classical guitar written by the great composer and guitarist, Michael Dowdle. This is my own humble interpretation of the song, played on my Goudin guitar. Playing a song on a single guitar with no other instruments to cover up all my mistakes is rather scary, but I am pretty happy with result this time. Enjoy!

Arne Bang Huseby lives at Nesodden south of Oslo, Norway.
He plays, composes and produces music as a hobby. His regular job is teaching probability theory and risk analysis at the University of Oslo. 
He is not restricted to any particular music style. Over the years he has played in several groups including jazz and folk bands. He has also conducted several choirs. 
Arne's main instrument is guitar. He plays both acoustic guitars and electric guitars.
Arne has a small studio in his home where he can do recordings. He loves the opportunity to post music on SoundCloud, and enjoys and appreciates all comments from followers.
