Commentarium in apocalypsin , is a musical piece conceived for an exhibition, and it is inspired by some of themes presented , such as the themes of destruction and creation, the medieval apocalyptic vision and even the reappearance of the idea of ​​the human apocalypse in the contemporary age.
 Divided into three movements, the piece is united by the permanence of time, Grave, one of the slowest in musical composition. From the height variations of the C mode, the three tempos are developed, with the brass instruments and the voices playing the role of suggestion and emotion, against a background created by a sound designer. Some compositional elements are particularly perceptive, such as the Gregorian reminiscence, although here in a polyphonic register (referring to the Portuguese manuscript "Apocalypse of Lorvão" 1189 ), in the First Movement, it manifests itself in a fragile human universal order, which serves as a catchphrase for the themes melodic presented by the horns, incorporating increasingly intricate harmonies, amplified by the increasing degree of dissonance, foreshadowing the appearance of the Second Movement, dedicated to the human apocalypse. dissonant, they accompany the dynamic increase, with intervals that clash and fight each other, which is also manifested in the choral work, especially in the level of the recording of the sopranos, symbology of a struggle that is established at the same time on earth, but also in the In the final step, which was intended to be reconciliation and rebirth, the mode moves away from its character of that and seeks to accompany the idea of ​​a world that seeks to regenerate itself, probably without humanity already being present. Meticulously handcrafted ornamental items made with exquisite craftsmanship are considered objects of vertu. While creating Inside a Mirage of Vertu, I have been weighing consequences of generative art forms, with more focus on those that rely on artificial intelligence, and I have been trying to come to terms with how this kind of art will transform artists' craft. Inside a Mirage of Vertu does not use an AI in its production, but does use automated processes for spatialization like ambisonic granulation which generate 3D gestures and soundscapes. These soundscapes represent the surreal image of a musical singing bird box, a rather iconic object of vertu, but the piece places you inside a mirage – an apparition manufactured to exist in the world as if it were real.

Erik K Skodvin's feature-length score to Thomas Roth's thriller "Schächten" feels like the epitome of all his musical projects, conjuring a dark cinematic trip through 1960's post-WWII Vienna in a film that touches on topics such as law, justice & revenge.

Releasing a soundtrack as a stand-alone album can be challenging; and "Schächten" is by no means a typical listening experience. The record contains 24 more or less short pieces evolving through dramatic movements, underlaying menace and deep emotive scenes. One thing that stands out is the linear atmosphere throughout the story which creates a wholeness that keeps your attention to the very end. Set in wintery Austrian landscapes in dimly saturated colours, the film's dramatic events with dark political undertones feels like a perfect situation for Skodvin's atmospheric collages - perhaps sounding closer than ever to his early works as Svarte Greiner or Deaf Center. Cello, violin, piano, analogue synth and plenty of hardly recognizable instrumentation come together in a record that feels very organic in its subdued tones. The score also features percussion by Andrea Belfi as well as a Chopin piano interpretation by Kelly Wyse to the bizarrely schizophrenic piece "Judenfreund".

With the contemporary world sliding into darkness again, listening to the soundtrack feels like coming to terms with ones own anxieties - something that in the end comes through as a cleansing experience. As quoted in the film "Everyone is their own devil. And we make this world our hell".

Short synopsis : "Vienna 1960s - The young Jewish business man Victor has to witness how the prosecution of a Nazi crime against his family fails. The political and legal system is still virtually run by former Nazis with large parts of society being entangled in the past. When Victor also loses his grief ridden father and his girlfriend’s family opposes their relationship and his identity, Victor begins to loose faith in formal justice and takes matters in his own hands."

k-punk: 'look what fear's done to my body' (mark fisher compilation)

Arne Borgan is a Norwegian artist and musician. He works with analog modular synths, within the digital realm as well as with field recordings and electro-acoustic soundscapes. Previously of ARM and Cloudbilder fame, his solo works are now getting the attention of the experimental music scene. 
As an artist he works across a multitude of mediums, often with complex audio installations to accompany his graphic works. This complexity also transcends into his music with deep layers of sounds and complex thematic patterns. Asterion is the result of more than 80 recorded improvised sessions, carefully edited and selected to become this constellation of tracks.
