Rough unmastered (and often unmixed) demos from 2020-2021 when I was exploring musical possibilities for Alone in the Dark in collaboration with the project's creative director.

Chapter III of Katabasis II - Incubation Within the Æthochroic Osseous Vault: In Medio Umbræ Mortis for chamber ensamble and soprano. Performed at Salurinn concert hall, walpurgisnacht 2014.

"Based on the purely graphical piece ‘Incubation Within the Æthochroic Osseous
Vault1’, ‘KATABASIS II’ revitalizes its ideas and imagery and squeezes it into the
mold of western classical notation and performance. The skeletal progression
remains the same, yet many of the core concepts have been expanded upon and
been allowed their natural metamorphosis within the more orthodox
compositional process of KATABASIS II. Regarding the conceptual ideas of the
original piece, the following explanation was included in its performances notes:
The piece deals with the ancient practice of necromancy, or divining the dead, a
katabasis into the nether-realms for prophetic purposes, or, in this case, with the
intention of initiating a particular alchemical transmutation of the soul. Granted,
the subject and symbolism is dark, for it is essentially dealing with the less
illumined crevices of reality – that of the supra-mundane, the Hadean, the
profound underworld of the unconscious."
