You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

Cuddle Cast #22 is our fourth cuddle cast by a couple and it comes from @pullichomba. 

We know each other for a few years now, had some fun times dancing together and the pleasure to do a beautiful EP together.

Hello and welcome once again to the Depth Perception Sessions.

This week we welcome Serbian DJ and producer Circle of Life to take care of episode #120.

Bio:

Circle Of Life is set to be a hugely influential figure within the global techno scene. After starting the year 2017 with his debut EP on Suara the Serbian producer will continue to spread his own brand of techno. He impressed right from his first release on D-Nox’s imprint Sprout and will go on to work with established labels & producers. His main goal with all releases, collaborations and remixes is to develop his own style and let ideas flow freely. Circle Of Life says and he will prove that with coming productions. Circle Of Life’s productions are catchy, driving, percussive and give people a good sense of his really own vision for melody.

Bio:
Anna Maria Harokopou, better known as Anna Maria X or AMX, is a prominent figure in Greece’s electronic music scene. Born in Athens and trained in sociology, she began her radio journey in 1996 on the pioneering station Klik FM. In 2001, she moved to Best Radio, where her show Best Weekend Mix became a favorite among dance music lovers worldwide.
She went on to host a dance music show on Mad TV for four years and became the voice behind countless TV and radio commercials. Since 2010, she has been the official voice of the Onassis Cultural Foundation. At the peak of its influence, she was the resident DJ at the legendary Athenian club +Soda.
AMX has released six acclaimed mix compilations (Believer 1&2, Sleepless Drive 1&2, Back2Back Sessions 1&2 with G.Pal), and her vocal track "Ocean of Blue" became a classic of Greek electronica with international recognition.
Her DJ career has taken her across the globe — from Canada and Argentina to Germany, Turkey, and beyond — performing at top venues like Stereo Montreal, Pacha Buenos Aires, Exit Kaunas, Cavo Paradiso Mykonos, and, of course, +Soda Athens.
In 2011, she completed her vocal studies at the Greek National Conservatory and contributed music to the Greek feature film Paradise and the act Lovechild. She also collaborated with producer Stelios Vassiloudis on his debut album, released on Bedrock Records.
Between 2012 and 2014, Anna Maria hosted several radio shows on Best 92.6, En Lefko, and Join Radio, while also producing her own mixes and live DJ sets. She later launched HomeBase Radio, a dedicated platform for her mixes, followed by HomeBase Athens, through which she organized two major events celebrating 20 years of +Soda.
With the return of Best Radio 92.6, AMX marked two decades of her radio presence. You can catch her live daily from 8–9pm and every Friday at midnight on best926.gr.

Dirk H. is a 53 years young DJ and started his music/DJ career exactly 40 years ago.
He lives near 2 my former hometown -> Cologne/Germany; In the 80s, he used 2 play at various school and private parties with a cassette. Later Dirk learnt 2 play vinyl and he misses that time very much.
In the last decade, he also entered the digital age. 
His favurite music genres at the moment are progressive & organic house and Dirk also loves calm downtempo music.

His view: music is a vocation, relaxation and helps me to clear my head every day.

I like about Dirk’s sound, that he goes with his flow … Every set has it’s own story and journey & I especially like his melodic taste, so thank u Dirk 4 joining us and playin’ this nice melodic house set.
