An absolute pleasure to remix Afro Cluster, their original track combined elements of Afro, Funk, Hiphop and Disco with lovely soulful vocals from Helena May and a gangster (but good vibes) MC flow from mr Skunkadelic.

My remix takes all these styles in but also throws in some b-boys breaks and extra jazzy percussion to make this genre-spanning banger!  This was in the pipeline being tweaked since last summer and a key part of my sets, Hope you dig it as much as I did making it.

Well – maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration but they do get Crosby and Burni Aman from South Africa and VA to NY transplant Doujah Raze in on the action so the single is a three continent/ five person effort. Expect soulful, dancehall-inflected hip-hop with a positive message. Looks like it’s digi-only format but comes accompanied by the instro and the ‘pella in traditional 12″ style along with 80s-12″ inspired artwork.
