The Shadow Of Your Smile

Hey there! Welcome to my SoundCloud presence.

My name is Arno Behl, and I live in Cologne, Germany. I’m a music teacher who specialises in saxophone, guitar, and flute.

I started playing classical guitar at the tender age of eight. During my studies at the Robert Schumann Institut Düsseldorf, I travelled to Paris and bought my Selmer Tenorsaxophone, which I still use today.

Back in 1988, I began making music using an Atari 1040ST, a Roland D10 keyboard, and Steinberg 24 recording software. It’s incredible to think that it’s been 37 years since then!

Today, we have a fully equipped recording studio at our fingertips.

The music I share on SoundCloud covers a wide range of styles. From a jazz saxophone quartet or a classical guitar piece to an electronic iPad track created with Logic Pro on macOS.

I particularly enjoy jazz, funk, ambient, and lounge music. If you’re interested in collaborating on a project, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
