I was moving back to Ithaca for the umpteenth time and friends who were helping me laughed about how many shelves I have.  I responded  . . .  "what can I say?  I live by my shelf".  Then I wrote this song.

That's Aro (as in bow and arrow) Veno (as in wine).  All the songs on here except for Indigenous People, We Can Change, Water For All, Vegetable Junkie, Peaceful Persistence, Cupid, You're Gettin' To Me, Profit Above Peace, A Hundred Monkeys, Barefoot In The Grapes, A Man Of His Word, Two Feet Off The Floor, Praying With Our Feet and Peaceful Persistence were recorded by yours truly on GarageBand.  Most of the percussion is software and all other instruments except for the guitar are software as well.   All harmonies are mine except for Marie Burns on Peaceful Persistence, Emily Lanxner on Standing With Standing Rock and Tamara Sindorf on A Man of His Word and We Can Change.  I have been playing guitar for more years than I care to admit (50+) and am totally self-taught.  I play strictly by ear.  These are all original songs except for Sing For The Climate.   I want very much to be playing my music with a band.  In all this time, I have not been able to reach that goal.  I can be contacted at aroveno@gmail.com.
