The Ganges and the Taj Mahal. One created by nature, the other one by man. Both of them symbols of life, its beauty, and its fragility. They are also elegantly represented by the two tracks that constitute Aron Estocolmo’s debut “In search of Moksha... Or something of the kind”. The EP holds a depth and a musical maturity that is unusual in dance music. Every detail from the the slightest beat on the tabla drum, to the very titles of the tracks, seem to have an idea behind them. 

The first track, titled “The Ganga river, unpolluted once more”, is a homage to the Ganges. The holy river that provides nearly half a billion people with water, is for mankind the most important body of water on earth. The track could be described almost as an impressionist painting portraying its movement. Close your eyes and listen. You might just feel the waves of the river gently rock your body.



The second track refers to the words uttered by Nobel prize laureate Rabindranath Tagore, when he first laid eyes on the Taj Mahal. “A teardrop on the cheek of eternity”. This is a piece of music that intends to visualize a young boys fascination for the rich heritage left by the Mughal Empire. A Country that before colonization held 24% of the world's economy in its hands. Though today a ghost of its former glory, it never ceases to impress.

With a wish to combine his interest in Indian Classical Music, Clubbing and his artwork, Aron Estocolmo started his project in 2017, with the first release seeing the light of day in March 2018. Drawing the projects’ artwork by hand, and crafting music revolving around indian classical instruments fused with the western club sound, he has managed to create something truly unique. The first release paved way for residencies in Stockholm and international bookings with appearances at Tantra, Ibiza, Equinox Open Air in Geneva, and multiple shows at some of Scandinavia’s largest festivals in both 2018 and 2019.

The project has been supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Armen Miran, Siavash, Wild Dark, Gene Farris, Richy Ahmed, Animal Trainer, House Music With Love, Ibiza Sonica, and Ibiza Global Radio.
