With over 25 years in the game, André Galluzzi can respectfully be awarded the ‘veteran’ badge of honour. A mark of experience and longevity for an artist who has, as they say, been there and done it all. Today however sees the German take on a new adventure, with his debut release for Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings.

As a DJ, André has held residencies at three of Germany and the world’s most influential Clubs - Tresor, Ostgut and Berghain. Been the driving force behind his own We Play Vinyl party. Managed his own Taksi (alongside Paul Brtschitsch) and Aras Record labels and featured his own music on such highly acclaimed imprints asCocoon, Cadenza, Ostgut Ton and Highgrade.

Back in 2001, having released his seminal mix compilation, 'Im Garten', André embarked on a new series of events that regularly saw him play intoxicating sets of up to 10-hours. The parties went by the name of
‘Submerge’ and those infamous Dj sets have inspired his beautiful brace for Ovum today.

The metronomic kick drum of the title track introduces us to its immersive groove, whilst bubbling and elasticated fx vie for our attention, adding a sublime swing to ‘Submerge’. On the flip, ‘Bold’, by name and nature, ups the swing ante with its fierce acidic melody, shimmering hats and rasping snare.

A well-known new school veteran, Daniel brings a more introspective side, displaying his versatile sound palette on the latest outing for Munich’s respectable Pastamusik. Made for travellers and deep cave dwellers, the EP starts off with Arrival, produced with Juergen Branz, reminding of a dreamy wheelbarrow nodding to the days of past, saying hello to tomorrow. Next is Computation, with a computer doing its thing in the jungle/transmitting its core message - We are the Borg, resistance is futile. With its sparse beat, dropped at the right moment in for the right crowd, the EP’s third track, Backyard bounce, will make you prance, wobble and dance. Travel, produced with the prolific Acid Pauli, is one for keeps - dark basements and intense visuals. He has been passionate about music since he was young, with many different influences (from classical to urban music). He creates his own universe.

A universe in which he wishes to transcribe situations and emotions in music.

He takes a step forward with the publication of his first EP "Blue Mind" in 2020. In 2021, he continues with "I. Adeline" the first part of a double EP.
