Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore-based music producer/DJ. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, and Nathan Flake. Weird Sounding Dude's trademark chuggy grooves, squelchy rhythms, and winding melodies are sure to satisfy his listeners but there are always a few surprises along the way.

Life is about evolving and as it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for Weird Sounding Dude's musical odyssey, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught music producer. In a very short span of time, Weird Sounding Dude became a regular on the charts of Beatport, and his music went onto gain continuous support from some of the top renowned artists such as Tony Mcguinness (from Above & Beyond), John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, Marsh, Armen Miran, Lost Desert, Cid Inc., Roy Rosenfeld, Khen and many more.

Weird Sounding Dude has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture with performances at music festivals such as Sunburn, Satellite Beachside, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District, and played at some of the most celebrated venues across India such as Block 22, Tabularasa-The Bar, Phoniex, Kitty-Ko, PUMA Shuffle, Auro, Leather Bar, Tranqbar amidst many others. Weird Sounding Dude has had the privilege to share the decks with Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Mind Against, Jerome Isma-Ae, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, Ziger, Navar, Kastis Torrau to name a few.

Weird Sounding Dude also hosts two radio shows. The first show is called 'sinetone' a monthly curated podcast that airs exclusively on Proton Radio every second Monday of the month. The second show is a very special bi-monthly curated podcast exclusive for Spotify and Apple Music called "Orbis". Ricky Ryan has been releasing some amazing mixes in recent times that have really caught our ear, and with a career as a producer and DJ for over 2 decades, his flawless programming and building are a perfect fit for the meanwhile moments journey! 🎆

Sometimes we come across DJs combining talent with a livewire
personality, and Ricky Ryan is among these.

His sound is distinguished by a broad variety of musical styles, from
beautiful warm House and deep Techno to driving dance floor
anthems, always guiding the listener through a spiritual soundscape
by his silky smooth mixing and impeccable programming.

Ricky toured worldwide, including gigs at the Winter Music
Conference in Miami, The BPM Festival in Mexico, ADE in
Amsterdam, Creamfields in his hometown Buenos Aires, and an
honourable residency at the spectacular Warung Beach Club in
Brazil.

His success is exemplified by featuring on John Digweed's
Transitions show, and on Proton Radio setting a record of
simultaneous listeners, with rave reviews from Sander Kleinenberg,
Danny Howells, and Desyn Masiello for DJ MAG.

Ricky Ryan is just as well respected for his remixes and productions

The 87th edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes Juan Serrentino a.k.a. Teleport-X from Argentina. Born in Buenos Aires, Teleport-X's initial clicks to pursue music began in the '90s - having attended "The Energy Parade" in Argentina at an early age of 12. A few years later, having taken massive inspiration from live performances by Richie Hawtin (Plastikman), Armin Van Buuren and more, Teleport-X ultimately began DJing in 2007 followed by music production over the years in 2018. Having presented releases on Mango Alley, Univack, Deepwibe Underground and many more, Teleport-X has also gained some heavy support from the likes of Airwave, Juan Pablo Torrez, Sebastian Busto just to name a few.
