Man nehme eine junge, talentierte Musikerin (Rykka) und einen Song, aufgesplittet in alle Spuren (Blackie). Die Zutaten in passende Behälter geben. Online-Plattformen wie Soundcloud eignen sich dafür am besten. Anschliessend werden die Ingredienzien mit einem Contest verrührt. Die Masse drei Monate in den Behältern ziehen lassen. Durch den Prozess der Knospung, ähnlich Hefe, sollten sich die Songspuren anschliessend vemehren. Hervorgerufen wird dies durch sogenannte Produzenten. Die Behälter bei 180 Grad backen und die Remixes mit Puderzucker geniessen.

Zu kompliziert? Okay, noch einmal im Schnelldurchlauf: Rykka stellte die Spuren ihres Songs «Blackie» auf Soundcloud. Mehrere Remixer/Produzenten aus aller Welt nahmen diese auf und erschufen daraus Remixes. Die besten fünf davon sind offiziell auf der «Blackie Remixes EP» erschienen.
