The Collector

The album, Provenance, was produced alongside the production of the instrument, BEYOND Provenance. With the exception of the guitars and cymbals on Demonocracy and the piano in Trajectory Unknown, every sound on the album was generated and sculpted using the instrument.

Provenance was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Paul Parker.

As a non singer, I wanted to try and make a track using a vocal pack. This is one of the new awesome Black Octopus samples packs and pretty cool! Not much to work with! Instead of going electronic I fancied a bit of a hybrid track....orchestral and electronic....with some guitars! :D Massive yet tasteful reverb, if you like a lot of reverb!

Arpegiator (Brian Brylow) is an electronic music artist, sound designer and producer from Milwaukee WI. He has recorded over 100 tracks as a solo artist and has collaborated on a number of duo and group projects in the Ambient, Berlin School and Electronica genres, including Gorgon Nebula and Parallaxe.

As an ambitious collector of not only vintage keyboards, drum machines and guitars but also in the current electronic technology of iPad instruments and soft synthesizers, there are often many different elements combined in the creation of the Arpegiator sound. Back after a hiatus of nearly three years, look for new music now!
