In between education days I am working on an acoustic flavoured original track with guitarist Joe P which focuses on 4 slightly detuned chords with an autumn feel. this is part of what we had accomplished post session 1

A cover of the Stereophonics track Maybe Tomorrow. performed by James Bentall, Calum Abrey, Rory Smith & Tazrian Haq. Recorded by Joe Pardy & Arran Simpson. Mixed and Mastered by Arran Simpson. This track is performed very strongly in my opinion and gave me the chance to explore in depth the subtleties employed when it comes to mixing multiple guitars in an attempt to create a very full sounding stereo field.

Gone So Far - Maybe Tomorrow (stereophonics Cover)

This track takes a theme from the game Undertale and applies it to a very different feeling genre. All of this was done by Joseph Pardy, who played, recorded it, and allowed me to mix and master a version for him. This has further helped me understand the role of a mastering engineer, the tools at my disposal and is a key piece of portfolio work in my opinion utilizing Multi-band Compression and subtle EQ to enhance the sonic field.
