This time I decided to do "more house-y house," as my mom said. The only explanation for the title is that it felt kind of summer-y (what is it with all of the "-y"s in this description qwq) and my friend once said something about wavelengths and I thought, "WAVES!!!" so here we are -w-'

All of the "verses" are actually improvised things I played on my keyboard and tweaked a little (Like adding effects, making sure its in-time, etc.) and I also tried utilizing a blues scale a bit in those as well!

So I music-ed again X3 

This time I went for a more uptempo house/drum and bass kind of vibe. Its kind of inspired by Camellia's music (again), more specifically the kind of style you find in "Exit This Earth's Atomosphere." I also incorporated some breakcore and dubstep elements in there as well!! (no cool gritty basses, sorry TwT) I haven't made anything like this in a while (or maybe even EVER) so I'm really happy how it turned out!! It's nice to make something happy and melodic every now and then.

I tried making glitch hop! I had never really been interested in the genre before and had never really looked into it or tried making it, but a trip to YouTube and one PRGX tutorial later and I was hooked. I imagine glitch hop as being dubstep but slower (but also technically faster?) I made sure to include some chiptune elements because why not :3 After I was done with the glitch hop bit, I was thinking "well, I haven't tried drum and bass in a while..." so I decided to refresh myself on some dnb, and I'm really quite satisfied with it! I was trying to go for a sort-of mainstream, almost jump-up kind of vibe and I think I got what I was looking for. Then I tried dubstep once again for the same reason I did dnb. I think this is some of the best dubstep bass sound design I've done in a while. In the second half of the dubstep part I tried getting a little more "reckless(?)" with the sound design, and I'm glad I did. I need to do that more often -w- Anyways, I guess that's all I have to say!

If you have a SoundCloud account, around two months ago you may have seen a pop-up for a remix party for Laidback Luke and Nostalgix's track "1000BPM." I joined this remix party, and this is what happened!! :D I loved the feeling of taking the elements from the original track and using them in my work, and then going back to hear how they were used in the original song as well as in other remixes!! Hearing certain elements getting used differently is crazy when you've worked with those same exact sounds X3 I'm EXTREMELY happy with the sub bass in this song, and listening to it in the car is really fun!! I hope you have as much fun listening to this as I did!

"no." is a heavy-hitting track that mimics the likes of Knock2 and The Prodigy, "Purple (Take Me There)" is an emotional and somewhat-experimental track that crosses multiple genres, and "Smoke" is a harder, urban-feeling banger inspired by longstoryshort's "TEC-9".
