I came back after possibly a month of hiatus and this music had not been affected by natural errosion.  Normally after a few months the sharp edges start chipping and getting a bit duller.  Not this.  Like a diamond... or a star. (Well, the star does errode, very slowly, not in months, nor years, nor centuries....)

Awesome track!!! Excellent sub-bass and melody!

The rhythm is well-structured! Excellent! I love the atmosphere of this song.

Anna Karina, Ukrainian music producer based in Berlin,
has released her first EP!

This EP showcases synthesizers and VCV Rack. The sound explores the sensations of wind and the vast, heavy landscape of the mind.
Rather than imitating the physical world, it channels perception — translating emotional states into abstract sonic forms.
Noise and glitch elements represent the raw, untamed aspects of the ocean, not as it sounds, but as it feels.

Through generative techniques, where algorithms influence structure and detail, the composition mimics the unpredictable nature of waves, thoughts, and shifting inner currents. The result is not a direct simulation, but an evolving soundscape that captures the movement and instability of an internal ocean.

This ocean is metaphorical — an ocean of emotion, memory, and perception. It has little in common with literal wave sounds but resonates as a deep, sensory reflection of a mental state.

The goal is not realism, but transformation: to turn the intangible into an auditory environment. This process creates a unique listening space where meaning is felt, not explained.
The result is a deeply personal landscape, shaped by resonance, dissonance, and silence, where the listener is free to drift, dissolve, or reassemble within the sound.

I want you to remember abstract soundscapes that evoke memory, mind, emotion, and altered states.

This is an old track I've made 2 years ago. 👴

I really like this track because it reminds me to have fun while composing 😋. You know sometime when I'm stressed I need to try some bold and crazy things in my music. This is one of those strange tracks.

This track has no real history and no real agenda. But I wanted to write something to bring together all the instruments I love : duduk, oud, guitar, synth and percussions.
I started the track by combining several guitar pulses. I added the percussions and improvised all other tracks on my midi keyboard.
I had to do a lot of midi programming to make this track work!
I hope it's not that bad. And I hope all duduk and oud players will forgive me if it's not perfect. It's all midi and virtual instruments and it won't match the beauty of a real player performance.

I've made some changes in this version : 
- The opera voice is different and I have been able to do what I couldn't do 2 years ago. The last note of the opera performance was not is the first version.
- The mixing is less agressive and I tried different panning settings.

I used many virtual instruments in this track :

During my first years composing (?) Music, I made 80 or 90 compositions per year. I was trying to improve my technique with the program that in those years was not as powerful as in later versions.

This is special for many reasons.

It is the first time that I have used a chorus synthesizer that I use in almost all my songs since then and another one with strings that is also very common in my compositions. I downloaded both from the old Xewton forum that was the owner then of Music Studio (now it's Steinberg), software that I always use to edit tracks and effects.

I composed it on an ipad 1 that I won in a commercial challenge and that they recorded with my name. I still have it.

I finished doing it on the only occasion that I have been admitted to a hospital for several days due to my recurring problems with kidney stones. I remember wandering the corridors to walk around with a needle on my wrist and my headphones and my ipad ... listening to what I was composing .... I had nothing else to do !!!

Finally, it is special, why not tell it, because it is my zodiac sign.

This version is totally remastered. 10 Digital D1 tracks have been added and it has been fully equalized again in my new "music studio".
