Originally from San Miniato, Italy and based in Berlin, Luca La Rocca is our new invited artist to participate in ANAØH, we are very happy to present the work of a guy who really came doing things well, taking solid and serious steps. 'Ologram' is the title that he has chosen for his first appearance on our label, it emerges from one of the tracks and is undoubtedly the representation in a word of what it generates to hear his work as a sound designer.

Techno at a pleasant velocity, deep pads, hypnotic leads, forceful kicks and energy-filled harmonics are just some of the qualifiers we found for this release. Avant-garde music.

Psyk's Non Series imprint welcomes a pair of vital techno talents for a new split EP: both Yogg and Distant Echoes provide two tracks each to make for a powerful release.

Yogg & Distant Echoes - NON031 [non031]

CV presents the modular majestics of (@nostitz) and (@ioth). Both based in Berlin, each artist understands the intricacies of sound design, working together to contort and guide emotion through their complex arrangements, production techniques, and personal style. The track “Fold” unleashes a multitude of atmospheric soundscapes, progressing rapidly towards a mist of schizoid rhythmic elements, and further into a world of hypnotic brilliance.  Next up is “Iterating,” a grit-filled bouncy work drawing influence from the entire electronic spectrum. With a head-pounding groove supported by vicious stab patterns, the track is a unique blend of 90s severity and modern composition. 

Nostitz and ioth have created two original compositions devoted to those who find themselves dancing in a dirt-coated industrial space, with each track expanding on established themes of minimalism, distortion, groove, and hypnotism. (@tymotica) and (@saphileaum) have been invited to perform remix duties on the melding of minds that is “Higher Order Function.” Tymotica rejigs “Iterating” into an energetic breakbeat masterstroke, introducing a galloping minimal-style bassline that compliments an array of spattered drum effects, while pertaining to the same warmth of the original mix. To round off the release, Saphileaum presents his interpretation of “Fold,” a unique work that skews far from the original. With a glossy, gentle background hum of pads, and the layering of a dreamy vocal in combination with orderly bleeps and drums, this remix defines Saphileaum’s ability to take an original and turn it on its head.

STAUB is a project that came to life in Berlin around 2013. It aimed to detach itself from the hype and business from techno. The idea was simply to not announce a lineup and treat everyone the same without separating headliners from the rest. This strictly equalitarian but also very familial and friendly concept allowed to give chances to newcomers on a regular basis and to build a tight-knit community.

As time passed it also became an outlet to release music staying true to these ethos. Everyone is paid the same, doesn't matter who you are, it's all about music and respect. 

It has somewhat become customary to have a record ready to celebrate its birthday. As STAUB turns seven, STAUB's fifth installment  (STAUB 5 / IRIS007) will be available at „STAUB - 7 YEAR“ Event at :// about blank.

Sigha - Ae3m

The 3rd EP is entitled "Timoshenko" and includes a Kuf remix of the aforementioned titled track. 

"Timoshenko" reflects a more personal affiliation to Vladw's roots and the corresponding tracks are effervescent with detail and maturity in execution. The drum programming is meticulous sense and their acoustic signatures are clean and dense. The claps and hi-hats are arranged perfectly to deliver optimum rhythm and seamless for DJ's in the mix. The cosmic bleeps and pulsating crisp drums of "Timoshenko" transport the mind into a vortex of deep hypnosis.
The assortment of sequenced bleeps, phased hypnotic sounds, and ambient pitch-bending notes in "Beria" are calibrated with precision. 
The retro hi-hat/kick-drum machine funk intro of the re-working of "Timoshenko" by Kuf is a distinctive and contrasting mesh on Vladw's interstellar original. Distorted off-beat rifts are swiftly added to the equation to create a tribal old-school minimalistic track. 
The pinnacle of the EP rests with the magical "Yezhov" that combines velocity and spirituality. Deep ritualistic and textured sounds are complemented by flowing and perfectly sequenced drums.

In conclusion, a project underpinned by historic impulses but brought to life by a vivid imagination and a clinic in drum programming and arrangement.
