Skinwalkers (instrumental demo)

Three minute edit of the original 3 Hour Rain soundtrack. All sounds were created using generative synthesis. No samples or field recordings of any kind were used. 3 Hour Rain is an experiment in creating a custom ambient environment. It is  influenced by my childhood memories of listening to the rain and sounds of traffic from the backseat of a car, somewhere near San Francisco.

3 Hour Rain (3 Minute Edit)

My first true attempt at songwriting. Amazing it's taken me 15 years of playing guitar to actually do this. This was a fun learning experience which required me to get comfortable with the basics of using a DAW, drum programming, layering, automation, rudimentary mixing, and more. It took me about 1.5 months to put this together, hopefully the next one doesn't take as long.
