As is tradition, I have listened to all of this year's SVGR mixtapes, which this year were limited to six releases, and selected the tracks that I think have worked best or that have given the most joy, dancing and singing. I have mixed the selected tracks together in a standalone mixtape, which encapsulates the spirit of the times for me from 2024.

I would like to thank you for the support, the listenings, the likes and not least a special thank you to all of you who have attached your comments to my mixtapes throughout the year.

The world is upside down and everything is about to change, so even though I had planned a longer break, I'm back because it's never been more important to bring people together, create a good atmosphere, and lift each other's spirits with great music and talented artists.

The SVGR project and this profile might be silent for a while. I'll still check in now and then, and perhaps drop a mixtape if I'm inspired. But less traction and plays in the last years, due to changes in the Soundcloud algorithms (or the quality of my work), has left all the scouting hours and the time spend on a frequent mixtape production unbalanced.

Few facts about the SVGR project. SVGR is short for 'Svoger' which means 'Brother-in-law' in Danish and is pronounced [Swåger]. I'm from Copenhagen, and have been creating mixtapes for years to share the work of rare musicians, and inspire friends with new deep house tunes. Playing 'Live' I'm one half of the dj duo 'DJ Svoger' and SVGR has been my solo-project. 

SVGR is a private initiative with no commercial strings attached, and thanks for all the listening, following, reposts, comments, and likes through the years.
