this song sampled "forever//aj" by @nshvllmusic. initially i heard their song and fell in love with it instantly, and with them, we made this. for me, this song is about getting used to the presence of someone or something you know is harmful for you and how you get so accustomed to it being a part of your life that when it goes, you oddly miss it and the sudden life change throws you off, despite it being a good change for you.

unfortunately life does not always pan out the way we want it to, and there's only so much help someone can have before you have to give up for your own sake.

The release of ‘Disappearing’ follows the success of previous single ‘The Seekers’ which was warmly received by fans and critics and featured on BBC Radio Tees, Amazing Radio and Spark FM. ‘The Seekers’ was described as ‘A Stunner of an Song’ by It’s All Indie blog and ‘Vibrant and soulful’ by the Music is to Blame website.

Beginning more softly than previous releases, ‘Disappearing’ reaches it’s anthemic conclusion having pondered mental health and the feeling that there is more to life than the usual routines we can easily fall into.  The track was recorded and mixed at Blank Studios, Newcastle.

The band kept busy during the pandemic, performing live streams for the Georgian Theatre and BBC Introducing, Art Mouse Promotions and Music Mayhem, and have started to return to live performances, with gigs at the Head of Steam Newcastle and a headline show at NE Volume Music Bar. 2022 looks set to be an exciting year with lots of new music in the pipeline, starting with ‘Disappearing’.
