‘Exsciccation’ means the complete removal of moisture, to a state of absolute dryness. For Nanjing-based producer Dirty K, the word is representative of his “real”, that is to say offline, life. The four songs on his debut EP centre on barrenness, conflict, struggle, and exile respectively, in an attempt to thematise the contradiction between his fecund online life and the atrophied reality of his surroundings.

Includes remixes of the title track by Genome fam @hyph11e and @yikii.
