Well known Polish producer and dj based in Berlin, founder of the Audio/Visual ambient/experimental series Why so Silent? (hosting dozens of events all around Poland, as well as Berlin, Stockholm and others). 

Founder and curator of his @innertension label– a platform where he can freely release his own productions, collaborations, and emerging artists in the scene. Blazej Malinowski has been featured on some of the best labels in the ambient, deep/hypnotic techno realm with past releases on @thegodsplanet, Kontrafaktum, @semantica-records, @silent-season and many more.

Known for his hypnotic and energetic productions and live performances he keeps a productive workflow and focus on studio work and creating the right amount of energy.

Over the last few years, Blazej has toured in the US, South Africa, various places in Asia as well as performing in many of the Europe’s best clubs such as Berghain, Bassiani, Tresor, IFZ, Macadam, Fuse, Jasna1, Ankali and many more.

Cloutier’s nature - one of zeal and infatuation towards the warm, dubby, hypnotic house and techno that has come to characterize his sound as well as his ability to bridge the gap between dance music’s past and its future.

Eric Cloutier’s standards are representative of the pre-social media craze and arguably the old adage of letting music speak for itself. Cloutier’s twenty-plus year commitment has been built upon his integrity as a DJ and authority as a selector. A self-described "record digging psychopath," one only has to refer to his mix of highly sought after cuts from Driftwood Records to see the lengths Cloutier will go to in order to procure the perfect selection. This is truly Cloutier’s nature - one of zeal and infatuation towards the warm, dubby, hypnotic house and techno that has come to characterize his sound as well as his masterful ability to bridge the gap between dance music’s past and its future.

An exception to the norm, Cloutier is not one to capitalize on his Detroit origins. Moving to New York in his 20’s, he became a regular face at The Bunker where he began to further define his innate style of body orientated music. Now situated in Berlin, where he often shows up behind the decks of niche alcoves as well as the world’s best clubs, Cloutier’s reputation as an unequivocal, dexterous force is increasingly becoming one of note. His talents as a producer have also been growing of late, with the establishment of his own imprint Palinoia, Greek for “the obsessive repetition of an act until it is perfected or mastered.” The label has become the new home and optimization for Cloutier’s evolving undertakings. Through Palinoia, Cloutier manages to further synthesize slick, dubby club music to slide into his DJ sets as well as feature lesser known talent he's discovered. He’s a DJ for whom quality - above all else - is the watchword.

The mix is an extract from his set during 'Art Bei Ton meets The Gods Planet' event at Suicide Club (July 10th 2022).

Born in Glasgow, Scotland. His passion for electronic music started from a young age where he would spend his weekends in record stores hunting for music, he discovered artists like Speedy J and Jeff Mills who really opened his eyes to the world of techno.

He started producing music in 2008 and from there his sound evolved, always minimalistic, elements of ambient, hypnotic rhythms and deep rolling bassline's.

In 2010 he launched his label Informa Records as a platform to express himself and to explore further into his brand of deep techno.

With many percussive elements, and a vast array of soundscapes, this mix stands out for its clean sound and complex grooves organized in a smooth arrangement.

Feral’s affinity for the shamanic calls of the tribal drum have led him across the world to discover and nurture his defining sound. Finding comfort in the solitude of his studio, Feral’s visions emerge in the crepuscular hours of his native city, Rome. As the son of legendary DJ GOA GIL, growing up in Goa, India, DANA NADA was partying before he could walk. Moving to Tokyo in 2003, he was immediately drawn to the Japanese party scene where after a few years he began organizing his own events in 2006.

He is the co-founder of BrainBusters (2006~) & Re:birth Festival (2013~), both premier organizations in their respective scenes.

DANDAN brings a high energy vibe wherever she goes. Her unique style of techno uses powerful beats with an underlying groove to keep the dance floor on their toes.  

Originally from Tianjin, China, DANDAN spent her late teens and early 20s studying Art & Fashion in England & France. After moving to Japan, she discovered the underground party scene, fell in love with techno music and began to DJ.

Their sound is pensive with deep, rich textures; long track lengths—often six-minutes-plus—give the duo an expansive framework in which to make small changes of texture and tone, creating cerebral, balanced atmospheres that absorb and engage. 

“Sometimes we just take a short element, like the sound of a falling drop of water, and from this recording we extract the rhythm and use it as a starting point,” they say. “It’s a very organic way of creating new material.”

Andrea Zapata is a producer and DJ based in Lima, Perú. She develops in the deep and hypnotic techno genres as well as experimental and their subgenres. 

She always offers an unpredictable ride with a fairly linear rhythm with quirky sounds that create a hypnotic atmosphere along with very subtle changes that manage to bring the listener into a deep journey. She finds inspiration in her feelings and every time she leaves her daily life and manages to have contact with nature.

He is a man who is trusted for his ability to manipulate a variety of genres and color the floor with his own unique style. He hosts the techno/industrial-based event "Konvektion" with Takaaki Itoh.

He has also provided mixes for world-class platforms such as Bassiani, Dimensions, CrackMagazine, and Dekmantel.

With a strong focus on the scene, he has been expanding his activities not only in Japan but also in Europe and internationally, and has been shaking up various late nights with beautiful colors in the twilight of the night.

Capodanna is an Oslo based DJ, and has been a dedicated dancer for as long as she can remember. As an aesthetic voyager she traveled through a vast territory of Electronica's geography before something clicked once she allowed herself to be seduced by the deeper realms of Techno. The visionary soundscapes, the organic flow, the layering and the dynamic balancing of tribalism and futurism - Deep Techno encapsulated all that she was searching for.

Being surrounded by talented and experienced DJ's it was natural for her to take the step towards the art of collecting, selecting, mixing and recording. Capodanna is today a well known face in the Oslo underground, and has shared her love for deep, trippy technoid beats on festivals such as MO:DEM (Croatia), Ometeotl (Mexico) and Soria (Norway).

Nælida, whose real name is Daniela, lives in Berlin and has been dancing since the late 1990s. She has followed the development of electronic music with great passion over the years. Always attracted to innovative sounds, she saw herself as a music consumer out of deep conviction. It was not unusual for her to travel to another country just to see one artist.

When she immersed herself in Berlin's downtempo sound and realized that she could combine all kinds of electronic and analog music, she also developed a desire to express herself through mixing music in 2017.

Under a diLerent name, she embarked on a musical journey through various genres and gained international experience. During this period of growth and self-discovery, she clearly remembers the moment in 2020 when she first consciously and intensely encountered hypnotic techno. This magical moment created a connection to music that took her life to a whole new level. Since then, she has been intuitively exploring the wide field of hypnotic sounds and loves it when a single track opens the door to a new dimension.

Even though the music scene is not her main profession, her passion knows almost no bounds and has led her to organize a festival in Montenegro in the past.

With her current sets, she loves to tell stories and enjoys taking her listeners on an atmospheric journey. Stylistically, she moves between ambient-based experimental, sometimes minimalist sounds and organic, hypnotically driving peak-time techno.

With this hypnotic techno tune, Berlin-based DJ and producer Air Protection Office drives the energy forward, weaving nostalgic melodies into deep grooves for a emotionally rich experience.
Bringing the bouncy and trancy Indian sound, Clover delivers an energetic track infused with playful rhythms and psychedelic touches.

Master at blending hypnotic and trippy techno with uplifting sounds, the talented Goa-based artist Kohra delivers a powerful tune with groovy rhythms and twisted layers.
Through her track “Backwash Effect,” Unknown Source, a side project from Ậ.Deniậl, delivers a deep, dark, and rhythmic piece that draws the listener into a shadowy sonic landscape

Delivering a top cinematic tribe tune, the French producer STUPR crafts a powerful and immersive track, blending organic percussion with expansive atmospheres.
Closing this VA, the Australian multidisciplinary artist Ebony Willis unleashes a high-energy 170 BPM track, fusing tribal rhythms with psychedelic layers.

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin and Lisbon-based DJ and producer, renowned for her trippy and uplifting sets that take audiences on euphoric journeys.
She is also the head behind the well-established label and event series Art Bei Ton, shaping since 2018 her vision of the scene through hypnotic sounds, psychedelic visuals and gender-balanced line ups.

Inspired by nostalgic and avant-garde electronic sounds since her early teenage years, HBM has developed her music taste around hypnotic techno, atmospheric ambient, psychedelic sounds and IDM/tribe. Collecting tracks with a preference for loopy patterns, dreamy pads, groovy rhythms, and trancey basslines, HBM’s goal is to drive the audience through a cathartic journey - 

On the production side, Hypnotic Black Magic released her EP ‘Passages’ on Art Bei ton in Feb 2025, as well as some tracks on some VAs. She's currently working on her first album, planned for March 2026!

For their 6th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the talented French DJ and producer VBK. Her six-track journey explores the borders of hypnotic and trippy techno, pushing toward the uplifting side of the genre.

Dynamic and deep, each piece is crafted to draw the listener into a layered sonic space, balancing intensity with rhythmic textures. The EP features a collaborative track with the Moroccan artist Zaatar and a remix from Tadan.

Opening the EP with some halftime ritualistic drum sounds, "Concern" sets the tone with a hypnotic groove that gradually unfolds into a dense and immersive atmosphere.
The second track dives deeper into hypnotic techno, combining bouncy rhythms and psychedelic elements into a tightly crafted dancefloor tune.

"Voices From Beyond" stands out as a driving and dynamic cut, where uplifting grooves meet trippy textures to create a powerful and forward-moving energy.

For their tenth VA, Art Bei Ton presents “Some Casual Vortex”, a release that emphasizes cerebral textures, intricate sound design, and a diverse lineup of talented artists from across the globe. 

The journey begins with an atmospheric, cinematic piece by Synthbiont & Anassimandrus, titled “Inner Resonance”. Its rich bass line gently lowers the listener into a state of contemplation, setting the tone for the experience that follows.

YUKIMASA began his music career in the late 1990s in Anaheim, California, and then

shaped by encounters with a diverse array of artists. In 2007, he launched his own recurring

For their 7th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the great Colombian DJ, producer, and mastering engineer Red Noise for a deep and hypnotic sonic journey. This 5-track EP explores subtle variations and magnetic grooves, blending Red Noise’s signature sound design with the label’s refined aesthetic. Among the tracks, one stands out as a unique collaboration with the Peruvian artist Andrea Zapata, as well as a remix  by the Berlin-based ABT label head Hypnotic Black Magic.

The journey opens with an ambient and atmospheric piece, “Río Ancho,” unfolding into a delicate floating mood—weightless and nostalgic—gently preparing the listener for deeper layers to come.

Shifting into a 85 BPM half-tempo groove, the second track, 'Pulse Drift' builds a bouncy and fluid up-and-down rhythmic flow, somehow bringing the sensation of running in slow motion.

'Aether', the EP’s title track, evokes a transcendent dimension. Hypnotic and uplifting, it unfolds through pulsating patterns and evolving textures, radiating a sense of elevation and forward momentum.

Collaboration with Peruvian artist Andrea Zapata, “1996,” is a deep and powerful tune, building tension and release, merging her distinctive sonic textures with hypnotic grooves to create an intense, immersive experience.

Art Bei Ton Podcast 017: Adhémar

Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, though the promotion of events, podcast series and a label.  

Organizing events in Berlin and Europe since 2018, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances, panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, queer actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.
