8Kays delivers an inspiring label debut on Watergate Records, as the artistic project of Ukrainian sound-producer and live act Iryna Shvydka reinforces why there’s so much excitement surrounding her with the slick ‘Falling Down’ EP.
 
A collaborative rich EP, 8Kays links with Italian pair Glowal for the punchy ‘Matemática’, that brings plenty of eerie minor key vibes to the dancefloor thanks to the vocal contribution from Brasilian singer Abrão. ‘Falling Down’ sees 8Kays team up with the Buenos Aires-based producer and live act Juan Hansen for a captivating slice of electronic prog lit up by Hansen’s memorable vox and delicate strings. One for those special end-of-night moments. 
 
Dutch pair Colyn & Beswerda suit up ‘Falling Down’ for a different occasion, adding a tougher backbone, while teasing out all the melodic flourishes to craft a remix that’s functional and stunning in equal doses. Man-of-the moment Chris Avantgarde then ramps up the intensity to eleven adding his own re-rub that’s everything we’ve come to love about the producer: bold, powerful and memorable. 
 
The EP ends with a terrific 8Kays solo cut, the luminescent ‘Lyra’, a dreamy arpeggio-driven gem that closes out the work beautifully.

Having already caused seismic dancefloor rumblings alongside Q.U.A.K.E. on their previous Spectrum outing, Serbian duo Innēr Sense return to the label with another striking release, Hope / Outrage.
 
This double-header sees the pair continue to explore the emotional depth and musical intensity that has become their signature, delivering two contrasting yet complementary tracks that embody the ethos of their name: a balance of internal reflection and visceral impact.
 
'Hope' opens with a gnarly bass synth that purrs, slowly building anticipation. Layer by layer, regal synths and pounding drums emerge, culminating in a spine-tingling crescendo. The track's emotional resonance is palpable - a euphoric journey from tension to release.
 
On the flip side, 'Outrage' takes a darker turn. With a vicious synth line that almost breathes, the track radiates a sinister energy, never peaking yet maintaining an intense, shadowy presence. A masterclass in restraint, Outrage feels like a coiled predator lurking in the darkness, its brooding character contrasting starkly with the hopeful exuberance of its counterpart.
 
Hope / Outrage is a story of duality - a reflection of light and dark, optimism and rebellion, all encapsulated within Innēr Sense's unmistakable sound.

Wennink’s new four-track EP, ‘Wolf In My Clothes’ marks the singer/producer’s debut release on Automatik. Based in London, Wennink’s vocals and productions can be heard on some of the most recognised labels in dance music including Afterlife, Crosstown Rebels, and This Never Happened. Often teaming up with his DJ/Producer wife Henri Bergmann, Wennink has previously performed as Anaphase and also lent his talents to artists like Rinzen, Oliver Koletzski, Pete Tong & John Monkman.

Wennink’s three new originals allow for listeners to see a more artistic side to the producer’s evolving discography. Best known for his vocals on some of melodic house and techno’s most recognisable tracks, Wennink’s songwriting ability and rich melodies allow him to dig deep into his creative arsenal.

Not to be forgotten, the fourth track on the EP is a club-ready remix from Rinzen of the EP’s title track. The Los Angeles-based producer and DJ’s melodic and cinematic soundscapes can be heard in his 2024 debut album on Lane 8’s This Never Happened. Already receiving incredible DJ support from Adriatique, Rinzen's ’Wolf In My Clothes’ remix adds the closing touches to Wennink’s EP.

Biography
A pioneer activist, Crys L (Christophe Lyard) has been a fixture on the French electronic scene for over 30 years. From experimental projects with Pacific 231 or John Doe to the artistic direction of the legendary Magic club in Grenoble—where he organized his first raves with Laurent Garnier—he has never let go of either his passion or his vision.
Founder of Futuria Production, the Trance-Mission association, and the Sekence label, rooted in the French Touch movement (Phunky Data, Kiko, Ian Pooley…), he also co-founded Technopol in 1996, before producing some of the era's most iconic techno gatherings: Hexagona, the Amplitudes Festival, and the Futuria Raves at the Zénith in Paris.

An insatiable producer and programmer, he is one of the architects of the electronic explosion in the Rhône-Alpes region (Kiko, Oxia, Agoria, Alex K, The Hacker…), and has regularly crossed paths with Prodigy, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, David Guetta, and Marc Cerrone, whom he has worked with since 2013. The pandemic marked a turning point: a return to machines, a return to the decks. In 2022, he played again in Lyon alongside Scan X, held residencies on Club FG and Maxximum (Radio FG), signed with Balagan Music (Wagram Music), and released his debut single This Is My Berlin (Sekence/Wagram Music) in 2023, featuring Rocket Mike (Tristesse Contemporaine).
Since then, everything has accelerated. Cherchez le Garçon, Hironoda, and Primal have found their place in the playlists.
Crys L has shared the stage with Cerrone, Josh Wink, Popof, and Timid Boy, and has performed at venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, the Lake Parade in Geneva, and the XNV Festival.
Carried by three decades of passion, his music flows between indie dance, melodic techno, and club energy.
Always in motion, true to his vision, Crys L continues his journey to the rhythm of his passion.
