Swallow at the Hollow is a mix of things I made around the same time as all the Grim Reaper tracks. They kind of feel like scribbles or doodles and for some reason or another I couldn't find my way of singing with them. Some of them just stuck out like sore thumbs. I hope you enjoy them and wanted to say thanks very much for listening and thanks to those of you who came out to see the shows the past couple of years. Happy Halloween...

Turmalinturm [remixes] is a scrupulous compilation of tracks inspired by the second Fogh Depot album released in October 2016 via Denovali Records. The idea was to compile pieces both from artists of the Denovali roster and of the booming Russian electronic scene.

The Tourmaline tower is crashed. A new town is being raised at its place, eclectic in architecture, but of a monolithic mood. Get ready for a dense atmospheric mix of magnetic darkness and genuine delicacy. This is an example of seductive and at the same time disturbing tunes at the confluence of drone, ambient, IDM and live electronica. The collection absorbes works of the most skillful producers of this noble genre demanding extreme precision.

Half of the London-based duo «Piano Interrupted» and also successful solo musician Franz Kirmann provides a shard of pure romanсе from Albion’s shore, while the experienced Moscow artist Dima Ustinov delicately and gently dissects the modal harmony of the track «Meduse». The prolific Sardinian producer Saffronkeira adds a detached, ephemeral and otherworldly piece and master of techno hymns Moa Pillar contributes a horror-drone remix of Quicksilver Spoon. For those who want to dance there is Monokle - an eclectic musician from Saint Petersburg - decomposing «Meduse» into a bassy club track. The Siberian dark lord of modular synthesizers Hmot totally deconstructs Oscar and literally distills all the piercing dramatic effect from the track, while an emotional and powerful piece by John Lemke, gloomy, affective and catchy, closes the remix album. 

The Tourmaline tower is crashed. But the town made of its remnants is no less fascinating than the original.

Jonny Telafone is a Melbourne bedroom auteur, responsible for a series of incredible cassette and digital releases over the last five years. Chapter Music is proud to present a Jonny Telafone best-of, taking the unusual form of a four song vinyl EP accompanied by a 20 track CD.
Unconcerned with genre boundaries, Jonny moves between slick r’n’b sex jams, outsider acoustic folk, and apocalyptic sci-fi mini-epics. Many of his releases to date have been on excellent Canberra label Dream Damage.
On stage, Jonny presents his songs like a sedated Henry Rollins, but the recorded works are nuanced, sophisticated and infused with a bleak humour. Jonny’s songs are often mesmerisingly creepy, but they can also be touching, even sweet. Tracks like Pitter Patter and All I Ever Want show the gentler side of Jonny Telafone.
The vinyl single features two brand new songs on the A-side, Spirit Man and Don’t Make Me Wait, with two of Chapter’s favourites on the B-Side, including the no-holds-barred ode to giving pleasure, Make Your Pussy Cum. The accompanying CD includes the vinyl tracks plus 16 other gems from Jonny’s exten- sive back catalogue.
Already possessed of a cult following from his scat- tered cassette and digital releases, this new compila- tion reinforces Jonny Telafone’s position as a twisted genius of modern Australian music.
