Looking Svelte is a pop music project from Ryan Burrowes (Robocobra Quartet/Abandcalledboy). Self produced, the EP features the influences from the likes of Triphop , Noise and 80s Synthpop and incorporates drum machines, synthesisers, home made instruments and messed up guitars to create a glitchy pop haze.  The EP features 3 tracks and a cover of Jona Lewie’s Christmas classic ’Stop The Cavalry’ which was featured on 'Christmas on Castletown Rd.'

TWINS - What Should I Expect

When Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito were reunited unexpetedly and went on a mission to find their birth parents after it was disclosed that they were non identical twins, little did they know that 25 years down the line there would also be a techno/electro artist called TWINS, although not named after the 80s.
Arnie vehicle released on the back of a staggering run of movies such as Terminator, Running Man and Total Recall, TWINS actually stands for 'that which is not said',  which is precisely the opposite of writing about an unrelated film for most of the description of a track.  Enfant Terrible have put out the latest TWINS double header, 'Make Life Before You'. 
The first track, 'Wait for Harm' is a testament to the Coldwave and Synthwave tracks so cruelly forgotten in the 80s until worthy vinyl diggers made them fashionable again. 
Metallic snares and moody minimalism are only made more tense by a melancholy inducing vocal which is almost made unrecognisable by echo peddles and various other effects Wait For Harm by the artist known to his nearest and dearest as Matthew Weiner is a fabulous return to the fold.
