Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.
In our third music journey we’ve got amazing recordings by Linos Tzelos aka Gazelle. A steadfast composer who worked as an audio director in Nodding Heads Games in India for the video-game “Raji: An ancient epic”. All audio including soundtracks, SFX, dialogues was created, produced and implemented in the game by Gazelle. The music is all organic, using only natural instruments for the production such as sitar, ravanhatha, violin, bass guitar, percussions and vocals. The samples offered to the included artists are extracted from the track “The end”, part of Raji’s OST. Guitar, bass, ravanhatha, baglama were performed by Gazelle himself while vocals are by Andrie Evripidou, percussion by Nikos Varelas, table by Jordan Latskos and backpipes by Sokrates Votskos. For this journey we’ve invited four quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Germany to Greece and France with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Acanth, AmuAmu, Anber and Jack Essek are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Dig deep and you’ll find a world of mysticism, contradictions and pure, crystal clear beautiful sounds!

Society is in crisis - and we need guidance. The Phantom Whistler is the Australian mystic and gun for hire blazing trails across the untamed Wild West.

He was last seen as one half of The Lone Wranglers, a duo dabbling with psychedelia and deep house rooted in ‘Way of the Cowboy’ ('one of the most creative albums of the 2020' — Electronic Groove). This time he rides solo, unleashing a modern spaghetti western that dares to ask questions.

Uone has graced us with a modern rarity: a 15-track full-length concept album, ‘Phantom Whistler’, that pays homage to the Wild West.

Across Phantom Whistler you'll find a cinematic saga. Mind-expanding house and warm electronic ambience transmit with pacifying effect, and Uone juxtaposes moments of solitude and calm with a spiritual groove to preach a righteous truth. It's an organic sound, one leathered in the sun and rinsed in the open plain rivers.

Provocative guitars, harmonicas and indiscriminate field recordings are pulled together by the outlaw's call card: a clear, crystallised frequency; a whistle born during cold nights next to warm campfires. Make no mistake: this right here is an aural tonic, a soundtrack to the greatest medicine ceremony ever assembled.

The original mix of ‘Universal Wisdom' circles back to the start of the journey, its pertinent message wrapped in low-slung throbbing bass, enveloping deep tech beats and shimmering FX.

Taming your surroundings is crucial for any outlaw, and the noble craft of Falconry runs parallel with that ethos. Not just a smooth ode to passion, the gliding guitar and respectful vocal of ‘Karachi Eagles’ pays homage to those who devote their life to passion.

'Irish Campfire' features real-life Irish Whistler champion Joe Moran who plays a pensive piece around a crackling campfire. This is audio whiskey, my friend; a place to replenish and restore, a time to integrate the teachings from before.

As we pack up and throw dirt on the last smouldering coals, we ride one last time with 'Cause My Love', a sweet disco-fied sunrise after a long night learning big lessons. The Motown-inspired energy is filled with gratitude and contentment, acknowledging that, yes, we really are spirits on a human experience.

We are proud to present the fourth release on our imprint made by dear friend @noraj-cue. This is his first EP after releasing his second album "Inner Glitch" on his own label Happy Camper Records. He delivers a fresh versatile 4 track EP that shows what the man is all capable of.

Kicking of with the track "Noone Else" that will be released first as an single with videoclip where he opens up his mind about being yourself. @arutani on remix duty shines his light on the matter with his deep interpretation.

"Too Late Tonight" the title track of the EP is an ode to the moment we probably all know and for sure experienced. That moment you stayed up for too long and are stuck in that particular moment knowing you have to go to bed. Stuck in a loop? Or is it the @tripjag remix you are listening to? Well it's definitely the kind of trip hop song you wanna end up with before closing your eyes.

Guess "Backfire" is the right name for your sleeping plan right? This more oldskool kind of dance floor banger shows the minimal side of Noraj Cue. Damn if you think it wasn’t hot in here already the guys from @willezumwahnsinn take it up a notch while slowing it down… Am I dreaming?

So when you finally have woken up its time to start your day with "Hinga", the more chilled jazzy kind of tune to set the right tone for your day and hear and feel the soft and loving side of Jaron. We end this journey with head honcho @genii-music and his interpretation of "Hinga" which feels like the right way to end this late night tale.
