Danny Smith

Born in Perth in Sunny Scotland in November 1983, before moving to Glasgow a year later, Danny Smith's love for tuneage and DJ'ing developed in the 90's through playing his big brothers cassette tapes and decks. In the year 2000, Danny visited Ibiza for the first time... and this is where his love for tunes, busting moves, DJ'ing and clubbing (and beer!) further developed!

Following his first gig in April 2005 at a one off night in Glasgow, Danny quickly secured a number of gigs as well as a featured mix in IDJ magazine. A residency in world renowned The Arches in Glasgow soon followed and in 2010 Danny decided to get into the studio with Leon Watson. Together they produced a number of tracks quickly signed up by labels such as Sebian, WR Germany & Cutoff Recordings. Danny has since produced a number of solo productions and had a number of tracks and remixes signed and released on various labels including Eklero, Limbo, Clubstream, WR Germany, Control Room and Traxacid.

Recently, Danny teamed up with Clutch Slip (Gobsmacked, Neurotraxx, UnterNull, Section 15, Midimal) - aka Leon Watson & Twandy - to create Clutch Trax. This new & exciting label will take you up and down the gears of electronic music with a techno inspired drive. Initially, it will showcase a number of originals and remixes by themselves, with remixes from top class producers from around the world. The first release is out the beginning of 2012, with plenty more to come... YAWZ!

Vegim's journey into the underground began in the early 1990's. At first, music was just a hobby. Once he began collecting records his obsession grew stronger and he invested in his first pieces of music equipment. 1998 was the year Vegim became a full time slave to the underground. He rapidly developed his skills as a DJ and in his Production. By the age of 18 Vegim had already discovered his lust for House & Techno. The desire to tell his story through music took over and Vegim has never looked back. Vegim's earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 2002. After about 4 years of hard work, he released his first EP - Creature 3000 with Nani Killa, this is his first tune which went on to receive support from a lot known World DJs. Today, Vegim is recognized as one of Techno's most influential artists. Not only a skilled DJ/Producer but also a graphics designer and coneptionalist that has a style unlike any other. He has released his own tracks and done countless remixes for many of the best known labels in the Techno realm.
His tracks and remixes are well supported by dj’s like: Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Xhin, Joseph Capriati, Mark Eg, A Paul, Gayle San and many more.
In addition to being a high demand producer, his live performance is one of the most unique in Techno. His sound and mixing ability combined tell a story that is one of a kind. Vegim has traveled a long road since he began and he is now recognized as a symbol of techno worldwide.

Some DJ's should be given medals of honour for their impeccable services rendered on the decks and prolific careers.
I am not talking your Pete Tongs or Tiesto's, I am talking real hard working, willing to play for the sake of a party and for the sake of giving the people a good time – GANEZ Aka THE TERRIBLE is definitely one of those DJs.
His Career spans back to the early 90's where inspired by the likes of Mills, Vath, Cox and Garnier he started DJing in France.
He played whenever he could and wherever he could; be it bars, clubs or raves. After 18 years of sticking with it he has managed to add a few other countires to his list of places played; Uk, Scotland, Ireland, Netherland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Slovakia, Greece, Morroco, Tunisia, Canada, Korea, Venezuela, Colombia.
A long list of countries with a plethora of gigs, from clubs to raves to free parties to teknivals to festivals and even radio and fashion shows.
Yes he's has pretty much played it all.
But not only is Ganez a renowned DJ who has played more gigs than you've had hot dinners, he's also a sublime producer. Electro, House, Break, Minimal, Acid, Techno and Hard Techno/Schranz he has released it all – with over 200 releases on vinyl and digital format his music is supported by an ever growing number of Dj's and artists.
So medal or not it is clear to see this man is well worth listening to.
