Brazilian producer Juliano Gomez makes a call to some electronic wizards to join his new EP Lost Tribes! The title track contains a solid and straight groove, with some vocals from the chief of the tribe, ideal spell for dance rituals , having interpretations by Überhaupt & Außerdem and Jean Vayat, then the song Amaterasu, brings the power of the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology, along with this strong mantra the versions of Eternal Moment, Emorine and Zuma Dionys. This brotherly pair from NYC pair have two decades of experience behind them and merge house, techno and natural vocals into moving tracks that have taken them to gigs everywhere from Burning Man’s Robot Heart to Bedouin’s Saga and labels like Nazca and Anjunadeep. 

Here they open the EP with Mercury in Reverse, a blissed out and beautiful track with angelic chords and soft wavy grooves that cast a real spell. Tremble Road is then a little more driven, with rumbling bass and a darker mood to the grooves as exotic sounding instruments dangling up top and occupy your mind. 

The Slide then finishes things off with seven dreamy and deep minutes of lush deep vibes with organic shakers and gentle synth lines that really get you in a daze and keep you there.

This is a richly detailed EP full of timeless house that really moves you."

The Art Vibes Reworks II project started as a crazy idea during summer 2018 and is only now seeing daylight. If you’re following Art Vibes for a while you may have seen the release of the first edition back in September 2017 including 10 reworks of our early catalogue.

Having grown a diverse catalogue over the last five years, it was inevitable to offer a fresh outlook on the tunes people have danced to in many locations around the globe. Being given the chance to work with respected producers to carry out such a project is humbling in many ways.
