We are sharing today a new other people mix by journalist, community organizer and musician Spirodon from Free City Radio in Montreal. 

His words on the mix: This is a mix of local artists living and working in Tiohtià:ke / Montréal. It highlights artists that I have gotten the chance to work with directly around the intersections of art and social activism on a variety of fronts. All these artists have contributed in various ways to efforts to sustain and build a healthy, inclusive and transformative network for the arts in the city, while also working to explore the ways that artists can directly contribute to concrete struggles for change. Particularly I got the chance to work with these artists around the building of the Artists Against Apartheid concert series in solidarity with the BDS Movement to support Palestinian freedom. Others within this mix I have worked on artistic initiatives to support struggles for migrant justice and for the rights of undocumented people locally, particularly around the Immigrant Workers Centre. Also I selected artists who have been vocal against systemic racism and police killings for years, linked to community work over generations to build community power. Finally, I just want to say that all of these tracks are beautiful! Thanks for listening. When I gathered the music of Axel Boman for a Focus I did not imagine the enormous return of people (with the help of Axel who shared it on his page I admit it !!!)
Six months later I embark on a volume two and I continue to be surprised and totally in love with his productions as composers or remixers or his collaboration with John Talabot (Talaboman) ...
Each time the result is an unprecedented journey with very rich sound and melodic textures.
Even being a fan of his tracks, bringing all these works together brings another reading and sends us to another dimension like on the track "Just Imagine, Pt. I & II" and the sound of Oud or the rework on "Timecode" which gives us another vision etc ...

Bandersen has in his early days made official remixes for fellow danes MØ, Kenneth Bager, Vinnie Who and Christopher, and released 3 singles on Kenneth Bager's Music For Dreams label - and achieved great attention on danish national radio with his debutsingle 'Guide You' feat. ANYA. 
His latest single 'Running' feat. Bruce, also gained attention from danish national radio and airplay on BBC6.
