Cô Nàng Lắc Người

Xẩm is a popular type of Vietnamese traditional music in Northern Vietnam. 

In the dynastic time, Xẩm was generally performed by the poor and blind artists who earned their living by singing at common places such as markets.

However, Xẩm is actually a professional music genre that combines folklores, poems and different kinds of Vietnamese folk music. This is why Xẩm has great artistic value.

Here is Thien's re-imagination of Xẩm, using sample from "Xẩm Ngược Đời" with rhythm from "Xẩm Trống Quân", which is performed by the most famous artisan of this art form, Hà Thị Cầu.
