Scotland-based DJ & producer Mha Iri is undoubtedly a rising force within the techno circuit, having been heralded as the top-selling female artist in Hard Techno on Beatport in 2023, consistently dominating the Top 10 charts with her releases on labels like Drumcode and Filth On Acid, and appearances scheduled at Awakenings, Junction 2, and many more. Now arriving on Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint for the first time, Mha Iri delivers ‘Take My Love’, an anthemic track packed with hands-in-the-air energy where mammoth kicks, wonky FX, and hypnotic vocals collide in epic fashion, as well as an amped-up ‘Hard Mix’ on the digital flip.

“I wrote the vocal to ‘Take My Love’ over six years ago. I had a vocal idea that I recorded and added this weird organ preset from Diva VST, which gave the track a really funky feel. I then left the track dormant, as although it was a solid idea, it wasn't where I wanted it to be at the time. Then, last year, I decided to rework 'Take My Love' and see what would happen using my studio experiences since I started, and it really blossomed. It's a fun, funky track and is very different from my usual sound, but it still has my signature feel to it. I also did a harder techno version, which I've been playing at my gigs, so it's been a really nice way of merging the two styles.” – Mha Iri

Liquid Soul's 'Crazy People' has become one of most iconic psychedelic trance tracks. After meeting each other at Boom Festival in Portugal, Victor Ruiz asked Nicola Capobianco (aka Liquid Soul) to remix this iconic track.

Once the remix was done, Victor sent it back to Nico that really loved it and they both decided to release it on Ruiz’s own imprint VOLTA. The remix has been played on the biggest stages in the world so far like Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Awakenings, Ultra Music Festival to name a few and has gotten support from legends of the electronic music such as Adam Beyer, ANNA, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Vintage Culture, Bart Skils and Victor himself.

As we enter the tenth release on Indira's Paganotto's burgeoning ARTCORE imprint, the label signals intent with an admirable offering from longstanding Techno authority Joseph Capriati joining Indira on a two-track collaboration.

Joseph & Indira's 'Mantra' is another testament to ARTCORE's ever-increasing weight in Techno and global electronic dance music and features a duo of racy cuts laden with signature sonics from both artists, kicking off with 'Ananda' and its potent classic Techno feel, with a prominent Capriati core of thumping kicks, crisp percussive drive and progressive energy shifts and playful twists, laced with Indira's hypnotic exotic vocal chops and gritty LFO shots. 

'Mantra' rounds off the release with an inverted sound transition, leaning heavier into the 'Psy' sound that has seen Indira's notoriety skyrocket. Throughout 2024, Indira Paganotto’s game-changing label, ARTCORE Records dominated the electronic dance landscape. Aside from a trio of ground-breaking 2-part VAs plus numerous singles and EPs to further establish ARTCORE as a leading force in contemporary techno, the Psy-mama also took the label around the globe selling out shows across Europe, South America and Asia.

The monumental output of music ARTCORE has delivered since launching in 2022 is nothing short of astounding - and 2025 looks to be no different. For the first release of the new year, they venture into new territory, with a double EP format, from two different artists. Calling back Mexico’s Interactive Noise, after he released a collaboration EP ‘Dissociaxion’ in 2023, and his single ‘Ninja World’ on their OFF Sonar VA in 2024, merged with a single from ARTCORE newbies, the Brazilian duo Avan7 & Becker.

Interactive Noise opens the EP with ‘Tokyo Core’ it comes with a wave of trance-imfused bass stabs, orchestral fills, and ominous pads, to cultivate a moody yet euphoric atmosphere full of tension that grows with intensity as the beat develops.

Avan7 & Becker’s ARTCORE debut with ‘Meru’ kicks off with a rasping, guttural vocal sample reminiscent of an Aboriginal call. When the beat begins to rumble by way of fierce grooves and metallic synths, there’s a glorious clash of aesthetics when the tribal-like ambience felt at the offset is met head-on by ethereal melodics and cosmic, fast-paced percussion.

To round off the EP, Interactive Noise returns with ‘Warrior Inside Me’ which leads with an anime vocal sample in which the rhythm snugly intwines around. Climactic and stirring from the off, the melody melds galloping percussive elements and laser-strobe shots with marching string arrangements to close the release in a truly epic manner.

In 2022, Indira Paganotto established ARTCORE with a clear vision in mind. The primary aim behind creating this label was to acknowledge and elevate the unique sound associated with Indira, which, until then, had not found a suitable representation in any existing label. It's widely recognized that this distinctive sound has been gaining rapid popularity and is finally receiving the recognition it rightfully deserves.

However, it's essential to note that ARTCORE will not be confined to a single genre. Instead, the emphasis will be on preserving authenticity and ensuring high-quality musical output.
